@@ValorFitnessInc the instructions do need to be revised. Putting a QR code that video would help. It also tells you you need only 2 tools when you actually need 4 although one of them is just because the wood screw is 13mm instead of the 17mm of all the others. If you look at Amazon reviews the instructions get mentioned a few times too. It’s a great piece of equipment so now it’s all done I’m happy.

Really appreciated this. What's missing is how to adjust the tension of the cables. That step doesn't seem to be in the manual either. I dropped a note directly to Valor Fitness about this (I'm sure I'm being a dense doofus who can't figure it out).

You are able to adjust the tension of the cables with the bolt on the back of the adjustment sleeve.

The only comment I have for this is that the paper instructions say to start on the right-hand side and this video was on the left-hand side I followed the video it was a great help so thank you very much

Sandra, did you receive the video automatically or did you search it out and watch it? I am asking due to the fact that we are trying to "pre-send" all assembly videos once the customer purchases the item with a note saying "Your gonna need this". Let me know!

@@ValorFitnessInc I'm loving it! The cables are what I was missing in my gym. Most of my equipment is VF, but I prefer the Rep Fitness benches.

@@03redrubi was your middle pulley bracket like the one in the video because mine is not like that I just ordered mine and got it up but noticed the bracket is different

1:34 in video shows different part than what my bd 62 came with. My unit came with broke pulleys and smashed up parts that had sharp metal burs. Not too happy

The machine is smooth and heavier than you expect. Don’t need as many plates as a normal machine at the gym.

The sliding adjustable pulleys hit/grind against the fixed pulleys when they are in the top most position. Is there something wrong here?

How will this work if I have a baseboard at bottom of the wall

If you are comfortable drilling into the baseboard, you can add a spacer for the top bracket as long as you are still finding the stud. If you don't want to do that, we have had numerous customers in the past create a small platform, depending on how high your baseboard goes, so it's flush and you can have the machine slightly elevated on the platform. @@Greenteam21 As long as you still mount to the wall correctly on the top and bottom, then no it will not affect the performance of the machine.

The BD-62 mounts to the wall in 2 separate places - one mount at the top and one mount near the bottom. It does not mount to the floor as it is secure enough with both slots on the wall.

You mean that the twin pulley part does not have a separator between the two pulleys? Yes. Mine is the same... Not sure it will function that way. I'm assembling mine today so I'll post an update after I'm finished. I've assembled hundreds of these types of machines (used to own two gyms)...

@@verdedenim662 I love the machine btw, also I'd recommend getting washers for the wall mount, not sure if I was missing any but when I mounted it I had to use my own washers for the wall mount.

@@kamakanani0 Yeah - im not impressed with the amount of friction here. There was no reason to cheap out on a single piece of sheet metal and a weld.I am going to ask that they replace this piece with the one that is shown in the video. This will prematurely wear down the pulleys and will also cause extra drag on the movements.

@@verdedenim662 yea I'm gonna do the same I wanted to test it out first and see if someone had the same part as me. Especially when you use the small T bracket to pull both pulleys at the same time it feels restricted. I feel like that piece will make it smooth how it's suppose to be.
