DIY Carabiner Bracket For Valor Fitness BD-62 Or Titan Fitness Wall Mounted Pulley Tower

Hello folks. Ever since I posted the video on the Valor Fitness BD-62 Wall Mount Cable Station, more and more people have asked me what the item is called and where can you buy it. Well, it's a tough one to answer simply because it only comes included with the cable tower and secondly, nobody else sells it. That said, I went on a mission to my local hardware store to find something, just anything YOU can use as a bracket for your own cable tower no matter what brand it is. After going through all the isles I think I found the perfect part. Link below:

I would recommend you buy also a double eye swivel with your carabiner, that way the orientation of the handle doesn't matter.

@@untappedstrength7548 There is also this double jaw swivel which might be better for you since it would eliminate the carabiners from both ends, making the connection shorter. They are pretty hard to find in any physical hardware store, but I bet you can order them somewhere.

Brilliant! Cool deal bro. ... do the video where u doing a workout for triceps using that tool and letting us know how it feels with the weight... if it feels to heavy or is it better to use only one side ...

Why you need a T bracket? Using 2 carabineer accomplish the same goal. 1st hook to both pulley, 2nd hook to 1st & your attachment.

keeps the cables separate and inline with the pulleys otherwise they will be forced inward creating unnecessary friction.

I'm not sure about that system. I suppose if the pulleys are close together it should work just fine.

would you be able to give an idea of the hole diameter and spacing of the holes on the original part?

The diameter of each hole is 1/2 inch and the spacing between the holes (center to center) is 3 1/2 inches.

It comes with 4 heavy duty screws. 2 for the top and 2 for the bottom brackets. Make sure it's secured to a stud and if not then install a backer board between the studs first.

Why not just attach the carabiners together and bypass the bracket?

Since the pulleys don't swing inward or past parallel, if I were to connect the carabiners together, the cables would create unnecessary friction on the inside of the pulleys.
