For many games this season, Ten Hag has been able to field (in the same line up): Rashford - Højlund - Garnacho - Bruno - Mainoo - Casemiro - Dalot - Varane - Onana Even if everyone is fit, those would be his 1st choice starters, with only Martinez and Shaw missing, and in those games with 9 of his 1st choice starters, we have been really poor.

Underlying non-sequitur in your statement. How much someone earns is a completely separate issue to the abuse players receive. No amount of money can protect people from this level of abuse. It’s nothing new though - just look at the witch hunt around Beckham back in the day. Media unfortunately like to fuel tribal instincts. We should always support our academy players.

Criticism is certainly valid and needed - it’s the personal attacks and abuse he gets that is not justifiable no matter how much he gets paid. I think it’s largely to do with football being an outlet for people’s rage and competitive nature though so the abuse is unfortunately inevitable.

I will support Rashford when he turns back to being professional. I can forgive not scoring, I can forgive misplaced passes, dribbles that go nowhere.... I can not forgive jogging back at half pace when the team lose the ball...I can't unsee tackles that half heartedly wave a leg at, I can not accept anything less than 100% effort. Reasonable moments and when asked appropriate questions he gave honest answers. The people that want him out are hurting the club long term because they're in their feelings about results. Arteta finished 8th twice. That means they were all over the shop, as we are now. Now look at them. Please don't tell me Arteta is a better manager than a guy that has the CV ETH has. People keep saying Rashford was great last season but that just isn't true! Yes, his goal tally at the end of last season looked good but in terms of his performances, he certainly didn't have a brilliant season! He was poor in all but a couple of games before The World Cup, then played well for most of the next two months(mostly in cup games) and then went back to being poor again at the end of February '23 and has been getting worse and worse ever since. So he's been mostly-poor for 6 or 7 years and particularly terrible for 14 months and counting, yet people still try to pretend that he's a world-class superstar who's just going through a bad patch! Rashford is basically Federico Macheda with a great PR team and it's just ridiculous that United didn't sell him years ago and probably won't sell him for another year or two!

Do not tell me that millions of fans around the world are simply being critical of Rashford just for the fun of it? He earns the millions and should be putting in the hard yards in as a pro footballer compared to us fans who are trying to make ends meet but yet we invest all our time, energy and money following the club we love and giving our support no matter where we are in the world! I think the solution to this man utd mess is to fire Ten Hag NOW!!! because he has lost the dressing room, rarely uses youth, a rigid coach who uses the same sytem every time despite failure & doesn't like squad rotation, then on temporary basis bring a good vibes coach to pamper these prima donnas they might finish top 6 then in summer bring a no nonsense coach like De Zerbi & carry out a PROPER CLEAR OUT. One good thing with De Zerbi is he can do wonders with youth and average players....united won't require superstar signings he will work with talents like Openda, Jonathan Davids, Ivan Toney, Vlahovic, Brahim Diaz, Dyabala 12million release clause ,Sergej Milenkovic, Ousmane Diomande, amadou onana; amadou haidara from Leipzig who happens to be a man utd fan, Johan bakayoko, zubimendi, Latin America talent, replace Rashford with mitoma, Neco Williams or Leao etc The only players who can raise big revenue are Shaw, Rashford and Bruno SELL THEM!!! The market is flooded with their replacements

Do not agree with ETH on this Rashford has been god awful for a year and a half now. He can't cross , he can't pass and he can't even beat a player anymore. If he isn't played in a 1on1 when he gets the ball he doesn't do anything with it at all he drops his shoulders and sulks like a child then gives up get him gone! We've tried backing him and he f*cks off training for a night out instead standards these days are in the mud
