I've always wanted to try this! So I spent $3,000 on a police grade speed radar sign and found out just how fast my top end speed is. Then I challenged college kids at the University of Oregon to see if they could beat me!! I announce all my events here: / nicksymmonds

These videos are getting dumb. Nick, you spent $3,000 on a sign and paid out $100 to contestants as prizes. Why not reverse the expenditure there..? Second, you set the bar so high then get people who aren’t in the mindset to compete to participate. Lastly, what’s the point of even stopping tk participate if you’re a girl. There’s no chance. Be like that Austin guy and be overly generous. You’re giving out like $200-600 per episode. Your channel is decently big. You spent $3000 on a sign. You can’t give out more..?

To all the people complaining that when nick ran he had more space, he held back in the beginning to see his speed than purposely sped up to hit 20 so it was fair and so 20 would be the speed to beat

it's definitely not the same. What nick did is called a flying start. in his defence any of the challengers could have done the same to give themselves an advantage as well.

@brucerhodes8197

@@SamanRex it wasn't a race persay, it was a chance to try and hit your max speed, he was allowing people to use how ever much distance they felt they needed to reach their top speed... He wants it to be fun, his goal is to get people to exercise, stay fit, so he has a lot of fun ideas to achieve his goals. It's not the NCAA or AAU track and field... I've seen him many times pay out to people who didn't beat a mark he set, whether it's racing or doing chin ups, he'll see someone that puts in 110% effort and just decide to reward them... Can't stress it enough... it's fun with fitness, not the Olympics...
