One of the first scenes from Beat Street shows Kenny, Ramo and Chollie arrive at a house party. Kenny's younger brother Lee turns up and steals the show.

I'm from Tijuana Mexico and yes!!!! Beat Street brought Hip-hop to the forefront of the world, it brought... 1. A new dance 2. DJ scartching, mixing, blending etc.. 3. MC presence 4. bombing(artistic graffiti) 5. cool-hip wardrobe. THIS HIP-HOP CULTURE GAVE EVERYONE A CHANCE TO BE PART OF SOMETHING FUN AND POSITIVE.

You forgot to mention Hip Hop culture is a black American cultural creation. #FBA #ProtectTheCulture
@legoman91111 ай бұрын
@@BeinformedBefreethe storytelling, music, art, dancing was not all black. It was a collective expression of artists from impoverished communities who came together in unity and expression. Sadly derivatives of the culture then segregated race, colour and culture
@dryinkdryink6755 ай бұрын
@legoman911 It was and is all black. Other people joined in later. But make no mistake it's Black Culture. It doesn't matter who does it
@dryinkdryink6755 ай бұрын
@legoman911 It's an extension of Black Culture. It had nothing to do with being impoverished. The Dance is Black...music Black...it's a culture creates by Black people for black people. Others liked it. That simple

My mother took me to watch this movie as a kid growing up in 1984 at Hoyts Cinemas Townhall Sydney Australia at the time I was going to church as it says in the Bible God Done graffiti it inspired me And every think about this movie it's absolute classic I don't know why??? but most definitely made Beat Street 2 it would've been timeless like this one and last forever 💙

Grandios ❤
