But there's something to be said for something that's been seen time and time again. My little brother rented Aero Fighter's Assault from our local Schnucks (grocery store chain) in the summer of 98. Played it a little, just really didn't click with me. In 2003 or 2004 that same Schnucks was selling off all their N64 games. My Mom bought most of them for my youngest brother. Aero Fighter's Assault was one of them. They only had one copy, so it had to have been the one we rented 5/6 years prior. Just a funny anecdote.

So, Rey Mysterio is a part-timer in WWE now, but even after around 30 years as a pro wrestler, he still occasionally wrestles, and his son Dominik is also a wrestler in WWE now. Also, “Kidman” is Billy Kidman. He wrestled, as you saw, first in WCW’s Cruiserweight division, and then was brought over to WWF when they bought WCW after its demise, and wrestled in their Cruiserweight division as well, picking up a couple of WWE Cruiserweight Championship runs along the way, and towards the end of his time in WWE he had a PPV match where he botched his top rope finisher, the Shooting Star Press so bad that it hit his opponent square in the temple with his knee - YIKES. Anyway, the company brilliantly ran with it and made him a heel. He also had a theme song that would’ve been more suited to a crazy wrestler character. He never acted crazy, though, and I always thought it was a waste that “You Can Run” was given to him, as opposed to, oh, I don’t know, a character with an actual crazy person gimmick, like Steven Richards on _RAW_ ?! Just spitballing though. Anyway, last but not least, yes, The Giant/(The) Big Show used a chokeslam for much of his WCW and WWF/WWE career, although once he debuted in early ’99 for the latter (strangely called by his real name, Paul Wight, for about a month), they renamed it the Show Stopper. Anyway, around 2008, he still used it, but had a new finisher, a knockout punch called the W.M.D.

Yeah Hogan's Finisher in this was always strange. His real life Finisher is the running Leg Drop. But because finishers at this time didn't have Running options, they had to give him something in his front position...and for whatever reason, chose the Flair Flop (it's something Ric Flair was famous for doing...but not as a finisher). Then again, during this time in the real WCW, Hogan just had an nWo member interfere during every match anyways.

Rey Mysterio Jr's finisher is not the 619 in this game. He started using that finisher later in his career when he went to WWE. The finisher you were doing is the tornado DDT. And that's not his ACTUAL finisher. He has a corner finisher. Thrown your opponent into the corner and then grapple him and do your special move and he does a top rope hurricanrana. All the wrestlers have multiple special moves in this game. Some may only have the front and behind special, but some have a corner and a top rope special as well.

They do have a block actually. The L and R buttons act as block against attacks and dodge against a grapple. Also if you hold either L or R (sorry can't remember) and press B, you can hit them when you're getting up from being knocked down

That isn't actually reys finisher, the 619 wasn't popularized until his WWE days and it's him having an opponent slumped on the second rope and he runs and swings his legs through the ropes on to their face. Even if he did this move in WCW it wouldn't have been easy to animate in 1997 The reason they likely changed Nash's tuant was that he never did the should stretch, it was just an animation they gave him.

I remember doing constant submission moves until I heard a bone break or a tap out.
