This is a reenactment of the meeting between the Beatles and Elvis from a 1992 videotape. Since everybody who was there (both the Beatles and Elvis' entourage) recall things differently, we will probably never know just exactly what happened.

Charlie Realis This is Just a clip from "I Elvis" It's kinda of stupid they way it was portrayed. I think they were trying to say that while he was dying, his life was flashing before him and he went back to 1965 when The Beatles met him. Of course no one knows that. I believe they could of made a much better dramatization. Although, I must admit, the guy who plays John Lennon in this clip, does look a lot like him. However, the acting really sucks... 😂

John, by his own admission, was comfortable telling fibs...he just riffed with facts, Dylan did a lot of that "tell the people what they wanna hear" crap. A put on. In Anthology, Paul, George and Ringo said, with a wink and a nod, "John must have snuck off for a moment and jammed with Elvis. Paul said, "And he was sitting there playing a Fender Bass..." but he never said he played with him. George said, "I was just tryin' to suss out from his gang whether anyone had any reefer."

This is so lovely. I'm very glad Elvis and the Beatles did something together, in addition to meeting. So sad to think that the world would lose Elvis and John Lennon within only three years apart from each other, in 1977 and 1980, respectively. George Harrison would die in 2001 from an aggressive form of cancer. Thank the Lord that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still with us.

I am not on about his music as much now although dying 38 years ago he still has enough radio play which no one else would ever have, i am on about the impact he had on music when he first came on scene and changed everything as all the great musicians agree with, i expect Led Zeppelin and Eddie Van Halen would agree aswell. After visiting Graceland, the Sun Studios, and Studio B in Nashville earlier this year i was blown away with what i saw and what he had acheived and how if it wasnt for him influencing the huge big groups like the Stones, The Who, Springsteen and many others then things could have been different!!!

Elvis/ The Beatles/ Dean Martin fact: Ironically Dean Martin was Elvis's favorite singer...the same Dean Martin that knocked The Beatles off the #1 spot off the Billboard Top 100 Singles chart in August 1964 with his song "Everybody Loves Somebody"...with that Dino sent Elvis a telegram saying..."you couldn't take care of The Beatles so I did it for you pally"....and the rest they say is history.

The Beatles were just as important to music as Elvis Presley. I am a huge Elvis Presley fan and his legacy will never die. However, the Beatles did reach what Elvis did and in some ways surpassed what he did. Not because they were more talented than him but because they took control of their musical destinies whilst Elvis allowed himself to be controlled by a greedy manager to the point where he couldn't even record music he wanted to. Elvis deserved better.

I know what the Beatles said in Anthology, but in the book I have, released 5-10 years before Anthology the Beatles say John & Paul stared at Elvis making him mad, George smoked a joint out by the pool and Ringo hung out and drank with Elvis' bodyguards. Elvis said he thought they were all there to jam and a few tunes were played around the piano. I know stories change and memories fade, but this reenactment is pretty close to interviews from the late 70s and early 80s with the Fab 4 that I've read...will we ever know the whole truth?

What I believe is a true story has that The Fab Four were guided to one of Elvis' "private chambers" where he was waiting for them and playing bass casually while listening to Mohair Sam record. After brief awkward moment they laughed, discussed, jammed and even smoked together. Of course, Elvis never got over the fact that he couldn't write a song even if his life was dependent on it.

Had to put ,my 2 cents in there was never any audio tape or actual footage of this meeting , but i have seen pictures when the Beatles met Elvis outside the house for this Jam Session . He greeted them with a handshake and you can see the cars parked outside the house. There's photos taken outside the house if you do some hunting around. Peace you all !! And yeah Elvis never looked this way in 1965 ,he was 30 years old and no long sideburns.

This video reenactment is stupid. They did not sit around and stare at him. John Lennon actually mocked him, as the cocky guy he was - and Elvis has hated him for that ever since: Lennon: "Why don´t you make some of the great old rock´roll records you used to?" Elvis: "Because, there are no more songs for me to cover, and I am unable to write my own music". Elvis was a great entertainer - but the Beatles was gods in music history. This video should been called "Elvis meets the Beatles"

@gnossticc - I've read at least 5 different versions of what happened at the meeting and each one says something different! The one I tend to believe most is from the English journalist that was there (can't remember his name offhand) and whose original article was reproduced in a Beatles magazine a few years back.

I think Joe was there, he told us all about the night . It was amazing to hear the stories from his mouth. So we tried to recreate the scene as close as we could. Except what the Beatles were wearing. They were in casual clothes not their preforming costumes. I think that was a bit of Hollywoodizing on our part. I was the John Lennon guy.

This was a Mini Series By: HARDCOPY ( the highest rated of all the Mini series they put out )Directed by Joe Tobin. There was never footage of the Meeting between them. So Paramount asked us to re-create and film the scene of the meeting of the two greatest legends of Rock and Roll. This was the first time this type of scene was ever filmed as for a movie about the Beatle (eg. Birth of the Beatles, Backbeat, Two of us.... ect. ) they are Actors/Musicians. I know, I was the John Lennon guy.

If you don't mind me asking, were you in any tribute band? Because I found a better quality of this clip earlier today and you look/looked like Mr.Lennon, it's uncanny
