There is a cut at 2:30. Next the elk is shown unresponsive, as if it were tranquilized or something. We would like to know what happened since the elk was clearly out.

Gland to know you are pretty sure he is running around today. Meanwhile, I know a limp body when I see one. That elk was suddenly in a different state than it was a frame before. The way his head is lifted up out of the snow and he's held so tenderly at the end was really heart warming. He just needed reassurance that he was safe and you guys weren't going to hurt him. I hope he regained his energy and got home safely. Great work good humans!

They left the poor little thing! What happens next? I would have liked a follow up video so I could see him get up and he would be on his way! What if he was attacked by wild animals while he was laying there exhausted? The men are heros for sure but I wish I could see that the little fellow made it. I wonder why the men didn't go find someone else to help since they were so exhausted themselves! I'm not mad, I just feel like the story wasn't over.

Yours is the most common-sense comment here. So many here wanting to blame the rescuers for not taking the animal with them and buying him a happy meal. Wildlife are part of nature and nature has a natural rhythm. What if the rescuers had never come along? This is where the phrase "nature takes its course" would happen. They did what they could at the time, that's enough.

Calentitos, junto al fuego, sentados cómodamente en sus casas dan todas las directivas desde un teclado! Por poco pretenden que en el baúl del auto la gente lleve una manta térmica "que funcione mágicamente con baterías" por si acaso tuvieran que hacer un eventual rescate!!! A mí también me gustan los rescates y oír eso estoy aquí, pero la vida sigue su curso y tarde o temprano, con mayor o menor sufrimiento, todos vamos a morir...

🤗 It worked out just fine the way it happened, they were able to get elk off the ice and save elk🦌💜❤ If the cameraperson hadn't been recording it, u all wouldn't have been able to see👀 the elk being rescued😍 So why are u'all complaining⁉🤔🙄😮 Just be glad the elk was rescued & saved!✌🏻💌

His body was probably paralyzed numb from being on that ice. That was a difficult challenge but those guys persevered and maybe saved his young life. Good job guys!

Thank you to these people for rescuing the elk from the ice. It must have been there awhile because it’s legs were numb from the ice and wouldn’t work right away. Thank you for your perseverance in getting the elk up the bank as far as you could and trying to work the legs to get the circulation going. Good Samaritans are blessed by God

Two sets of hands are all that are needed in these cases, one set for the forelegs, the second for the hind. A third body would just get in the way, especially in deep snow. And you do not need three people to push a young elk across slick ice. Speaking from experience with helping move downed livestock in the snow,

@@nadiacabana1000🤗 He made it, if u read the last words at bottom of video, it says the rescuers came back to check on the elk and it had left, it was just exhausted and had to get its energy and strength back!🦌💜❤ Glad it was rescued, saved and survived!✌🏼

А кто это? Олененок? Я знаю, что к примеру у косуль очень тонкая нервная система и такого "спасения" косуля не выдержит, умирает от стресса.

@@21hanker да, есть такая информация. В частности, насчёт "косули сибирской". Для неё стресс действительно может оказаться фатальным. Но кроме "косули сибирской" есть и косуля "европейская". Скорее всего, именно такая на видео. И вполне вероятно, что она более стрессоустойчива.

@@video-viewpoint к сожалению нет. У нас недавно недалеко от Воронежа собаки покусали косулю. Травмы не критичные, умерла именно от стресса. Её тоже "спасали" люди.

@@video-viewpoint Вы знаете, лучше не расстраиваться. Недавно в интернете было видео, как на дороге увидели сбитую машиной косулю. Потом рассказали, что долго звонили охотоведам и разным службам, потом на видео приехала машина и в неё погрузили косулю. Куча радостных комментов о Хэппи-энде, о равнодушии и неравнодушии, и благодарность спасителям... А я уверен, что сбитую косулю просто освежевали, охотоведы точно знают, что спасти её невозможно... Увы! Самому жалко!

It's so difficult and dangerous to work on ice without special equipment! And these animals are so big, and when they struggle, they often end up right back on the ice!

Beautiful little Elk. Beautiful people to the rescue! We all hope for the best for this noble creature! As strong as Elk are, he truly must have been exhausted to be in the shape that little fella was.
