A 10-min spoken walkthrough tutorial of GS DSP Quantum Distortion. Very good stuff, and fairly priced at $7 for iOS and $14 for desktop. Giveaway info can be found below, as well as links etc.

Quick review: I like all the GS DSP stuff, mainly due to the best-in-class inbuilt modulation system. This app is no exception in that regard. I also really like the XY mixer which allows you to quickly mix through the 4 distortion types. I have heard better quality ring mod and downsampling, to my ears (eg Moogerfooger Ring Mod and Toneboosters BitJuggler), but overall I am happy with the sound here. The saturation gets very gritty, in a good way. Love the randomisation options too.

Yeah, the UIs could definitely be scaled up a notch to make them look a bit pricier. Functional but not gorgeous

@@GavinskisTutorials All planned! Priority was first to build a decent lineup of plugins and release good sounding tools and do a polishing run after the ball got rolling. We focused on usability (what knob goes where) first as people can usually forgive the visuals a bit as long as sound and functionality work, but less so when those are bad but hidden behind super shiny knobs. :)

Hi Baze - I bought a 2TB M1 2nd hand last year. With all the video stuff I do and the mad number of apps I have, I actually need the space more than the power. Pity Apple are such a rip-off for extra storage space!
