Ok I’m already sold at the intro lol. This into reverb into gauss tape then summed after a 201 echo will be my new approach

Just got this app. Love it! It is so good for creating interesting soundscapes, from live audio. I put on a pair of headphones and started making great sounds, with the built in mic, on my iPad, right away. Highly recommended.

Time to get my Korg Micro-X our of the wardrobe and start playing with SpaceFields! It sounds like you use the Micro-X built in sounds as only soundsource for this demo? Or are you using any other sources?

No, only MicroX with factory presets :) In fact, it has a very decent sound.

@@zzzwiw Of course. It is the Triton engine with double memory 😊. To bad the editor only works on pc nowadays 😬. It is a great 16 part multitimbral soundmodule if you want to spare ipad cpu at songsketch level. But editor kind of necessary for that to work.

As external audio interface I use Focusrite Scarlett 6i6. Sound source in this demo is Korg MicroX synth.

Loving the SpaceFields sound! Just wondering how I can get these beautiful sounds recorded in NS2? Maybe I’m not using the right loop settings but just recording as “mixdown” only exports the dry sound. Can I export using standalone?

This app doesn't have option to save output to the file directly. You can use this app as Audio Unit with one of the DAW (Cubasis, Auria, etc) or audio unit host (AUM, Audiobus, etc) that have option to save output to track or file. Or you can use external audio interface to send audio output from iOS device to any other device with analog or digital input.

OK I like the demo but just a couple of notes (pun intended). The app itself turns things into a beautiful swirls of drone like audio (many of the results sound very similar as you move from present to present) but I wish you would’ve used so many sounds in your demo that were also so ethereal, pad or drone like. Secondly The camera so far back from the iPad I can’t really make out the names of the presets as you change them. Is there any possibility you could list them?

yes, this app can work on iPhone and iPad as well as Mac / MacBook with M1 chip (and later). On macOS the SpaceFields can works both as a standalone application and as an Audio unit (AUv3) with DAWs and audio unit hosts like Ableton Live, Logic Pro, GarageBand, MainStage, Plogue Bidule, and other hosts that support AUv3 plugins.
