If too slow for your taste you can speed it to 1.25 without messing the soundtrack too badly.

I think those are birds, and something with the way "frame generation" works on PC graphics right now sometimes causes a blurring of moving distant objects. I'm not super tech savvy so that is just a guess. However, don't they kind of look like the way they fly around in the movies?
