I’m sitting at a table by the fire in the Ravenclaw common room trying to finish an essay on my last Potions experiment. I have to get up and clear my head, so I walk over to one of the tall arched windows overlooking the grounds and watch the rain streaming down the glass as the occasional lightning flash illuminates the forest and the lake in the distance. A few ideas eventually occur to me, and I go back to the fire and write the last few paragraphs. Finally done, I pack up my supplies and walk up the stairs to the girls’ dorm where I lay down and fall asleep listening to the rain hitting the roof and the purring of my little black cat beside me.

I am Captain Chris i suggest you research travelling between realities and astral projection. There are so many different realities that one with hogwarts and harry potter exist. You can travel to it and script a day you’d like to happen. I suggest you do look into astral projection and different realities and scripting. I hope you visit hogwarts too

I’m in the Gryffindor common room sitting on one of the armchairs that Harry, Ron, and Hermione used to always sit on, the one beside the cackling fire…I have my pjs and my house scarf on…my cat, Lizzie, is cuddled up at my feet…my Advanced Potion-Making book lay open on my lap but I’m not really revising…rather I’m flicking my wand lazily so that the fire is constantly changing colors and each time giving me a new sense of warmth and safety…all while the raindrops hit the window…I feel cozier and happier than ever.

I mostly just run around and look at hogwarts and hogsmeade from different angles and in different lightings. When i first went to the boat house it stung a little… i‘m so so thankful for this game and my pc for being so strong and resillient 😌😂🥰

honestly hogwarts has to be real. there’s no way j.k just made this all up in her head. there’s so many spells, characters and creatures. i believe it’s real and no one can change my mind. hogwarts is my home and i refuse to believe that’s it isn’t.

@@koaladelespace not for everyone. While growing up HP was my way to escape reality. It's home, it's shelter... It means the world to me. It helped me survive, it helped me to get away from suicidal thoughts and get into a better mindset. Never understimate other's experience. Not everyone get's a loving family or good family. Many children endured trauma and child abuse and some of those used books as a coping mechanism.

@@carpediem4091 it is a tragedy that some people, as you mention it, are not able to grow affective relations with their nuclear family. Also, it is true that fantasy and other fiction-based universes of all kinds help people to escape their daily life to feel better, all at different degrees. There are people suffering from circumstances for which they have absolutely no control. My point here is that a great proportion of young people detach themselves from their parents because, well, as teenagers, they feel like growing up and as parents are authority's figures, they will feel frustrated about living under their command. I don't think I have to elaborate; everybody knows that a lot of people enter in conflict with their parents or just do not recognize how important they are in their life; conflicts often lasting over the years. It's only later they will comeback to them with remorse. My comment here was just intended to prevent that, to prevent people to escape from their parents. I am targeting people who might include themselves into the ''i live in a shitty place with shitty people and i wish i'd live at the other side of the planet'', while they are just having a hard time connecting with their parents. I'd go on on the importance of your family members over everything but as my limited experience restricts my point of view, I can only assume that indeed it is not always the case. It seems unreal to me, but I can assume it. (P.S.: when I say the most important people in your life, I don't consider that they are the people who are gonna have the biggest impact in your life by making you doing whatever. All I said comes down to this: do not underestimate the importance of your parents, no matter the feelings you might have for them at the moment. But then there are exceptional cases, mentioned earlier. And I can't extend myself in this field.)

John Williams is such a genius. He managed to create just the right soundtrack for this amazing series. It just gives goosebumps everytime I listen to this. This world, overall, that Rowling created is just so fascinating and nostalgic, even though I read the books for the first time a couple weeks ago. It's already deep in my heart.
