Absolutely, just like in latinamerica and around the world. People need to stop telling that because you're "this" you """"need""" to be this so """we can't tell""". For example, I'm Uruguayan, i have really white traslucent skin, and i have italian, spanic and in some point native roots. Yet, im still latino. Probably in other dimension, my skin colour is different but im still in Uruguay! People need to stop and never define who someone is or where they're from because of their skin or looks and stop being so racist.
@court0609983 жыл бұрын
Random Notimportant Most of the time, if you are the same ethnicity, you are the same race. However, I believe for Hispanics/Latinos or Mexicans, it’s different. It is classified as an ethnicity, or someone’s cultural background/ancestry. If someone’s ancestry was from Central America but born in the states, they’re Latinx/Hispanic American. Therefore, their nationality is American (where you’re born.) Their race may vary, mostly depending on skin color, as race is a social construct. So, no, your race and ethnicity is NOT always the same.

Appreciating other cultures is so important, issues arise when (usually) white people receive praise or approval for things that POC are berated for. For example, zendaya wearing locs to an awards show and was accused of smelling of w33d, while in the same year Marc Jacobs put locs on all white models and no comments of that kind were made. It's so important to celebrate other cultures but its not appropriate for (especially white) people to take aspects of that culture while the people whose culture it is are shamed for it

Can we also talk about how she tries to fetish asians as a race? I really cant with Nikita
@katv31163 жыл бұрын
But only when she wants to because sometimes she's black 😁

And also it's annoying how she says she's "latina" I mean, her mom may be mexican but no one in Mexico or the rest of latin america likes her or believes that lmao almost no one here even likes people born and raised in USA claiming they are latinos, she also only uses it as a joke, she doesn't even know a lot and only claiming it when it's "trendy" and convinient for her, but when it comes to problems about latin people in that country, she's nowhere to be seen, completely disgusting. I bet that if she wasn't being called out that much for racist things, she wouldn't even have gone to a BLM protest.

Shes half Vietnamese. Maybe she still is fetishing though. Not to sound dumb, how can you fetish your own race? Please tell me i am genuinely curious! Thanks!

@@damanipage5990 of course, over sexualising herself does that. And you know how they are so objectified already.

sage can be used for many different purposes, like clearing the negative energies out of rooms, spells, rituals, etc.(mostly witchy things) i didn’t know that it was indigenous, most that i have heard of it is witchy things because, i, myself practice witchcraft

Like she said she's mixed. She can appreciate both sides of her. Instead of trying other identities. There is so much to Mexican culture. Also so much in East Asian Culture. Like why be something your not.

Hey just a tip, Asian and Hispanic/anyone who isn't white IS a person of color, black people are people of color but that doesn't mean POC only means black :>)
