Hi friends and Happy New Year!
In this video I wanted to show you my current beauty routine: I will be using my favorite skincare and makeup products for 2023. I also wanted to show you a photo of the newest Chanel Les 4 Ombres Eclat de Nuit palette. This is part of the new Les Nuits de Chanel makeup collection which just launched in Europe. It should be available in the US soon. I already purchased both the new Les Beiges Healthy Winter glow makeup collection and the new Chanel Les 4 Ombres Eclat de Nuit palette along with one of the eyeliners.
The new Les Nuits de Chanel collection is not part of Chanel’s spring 2024 makeup collection. In Europe the collection launches as a separate collection calles Les Nuits de Chanel. The collection was designed by Chanel’s Makeup studio and as Chanel describe it as a collection that “falls somewhere between light and dark”. The idea is to create both intense smoky eye or soft smoky eye. I can’t wait to review this collection for you 😊

Happy new year my beautiful Angela 💕💕💕 this is a really pretty palette the Smokey look is definitely making a come back. I enjoy watching your favorites for 2023 too 😊 the anthelios sunscreen is one of my favorites as well ❤ The new lveb is one of my favorites as well from the line. The oud is not heavy like in other perfumes. I normally can’t stand oud but it’s very pretty on this one.

I am an SPF junkie! As a mature woman with extremely dry skin (in addition to hyperpigmentation, melasma, fine lines, etc.), I have a few suggestions that work well under makeup. 1. Bellflower Avocado Moisture Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++ (chemical filters) non tinted 2. Skinbetter Science Advanced Mineral Protection SPF 75 water resistant tone smart tinted 3. First Aide Beauty Weightless Liquid Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 (zinc oxide filter with a tint). It does burn a tad around my eyes. 4. Neocutis journée firm riche Extra Moisturizing Revitalizing & Refining Day Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (tinted and very moisturizing)

I also spend the most money on books (my current favourite novel is actually French, The Birthday Party by Laurent Mauvignier) and then I spend a lot on skincare and then make up. I also wake up early in the morning and do my meditation. We all have our special time for self-care, whatever it is. I still feel my mineral Mac powder is the best powder for me. I've tried Westman A, Dior (not too bad either), Clinique, Charlotte Tilsbury, I'm Meme, Pur, and, by far, Mac has proven to be the best one for my dry skin. Great skincare video. Thank you.

I agree with you about not recommending the givenchy powder for dry skin, I use it and it looks dry on me because it's better suited for oilier skin.

My favourite foundation by far for many years already is la Mer (foundation and BB cream), they have all the colours, also for very fair European skin. It is moisturising, but not too much, aI can wear it in summer and in winter and it stays on! But yes, it is important, that the ingredients of the foundation and skincare do not compete: water, oil, or silicone based. I try generally avoid much oils and silicone on my skin, so water-based products are going to stay better on;)

Hi Angela! Happy New Year 2024! 😊 🎉 I am definitely still loving the Guerlain Abielle Royale line for nighttime skin routine & the Lancone Regenerie for daytime! I just put in an order few days ago through Harrods for the Prada Reveal Foundation and also the Gucci Illuminator Drops! Super excited for these. The new Chanel 4 Les Ombres Eclat de Nuit looks beautiful; maybe a lovely companion to the Holiday palette! So I have to admit...I think the Dolce & Gabbana Devotion sounds like something I might enjoy. I know my husband's mother used to make some type of candy shaped like small fruits around the holidays(?). I'll see if I can find the recipe. Fragrances can bring back such lovely memories! I know I have some tied to light florals, white musks, peony musks, oakmoss, and I do like some (not all) sweet fragrances. I can't wait to here more of your fragrance reviews & to learn along with them!! ❤

Hi, wishing you too a healthy, happy, and successful new year! I just have 2 comments: 1. I love your hair! It’s beautiful and luscious even before styling! 2. I love your skin and the way it glows even without any makeup! ❤❤❤ I learned from another lady on KZfaq (jenphelps) who always uses any moisturizer especially eye cream twice! She applies the first time and waits a few minutes for it to get absorbed then applies a second time. Her skin is dry and so is mine so I’ve found that trick very helpful! 😊❤❤❤

I’m a SPF 40 and up lover. It has helped my hyperpigmentation/melasma so much! I wear it every day. Drmtlgy sof 50+++ tint moisturizer is my newest go to. Works well with my dry skin and makeup.

Happy New Year Angela! Thank you for another lovely video. Completely agree regarding sunscreen. I am in Australia where it is currently Summer. Australia has one of the strictest sunscreen products guidelines in the world due to our high rates of skin cancer and very sunny weather! Here are some excellent ones that worked great under makeup and have very high protection ( all Australian made) * Ultra Violette * Airyday *Naked Sunday

Hello and thank you so much for watching! I know what you mean :) Have a look at this vanity component for lipsticks go.shopmy.us/p-3185604 I used to struggle with lipsticks a lot too. Now I put my most used lipsticks in these lipstick components. They are magnetic so you can click a few together. I place the lipsticks upside down so that I can see the color and this saves me so much time in the morning. I usually organize them in color categories: reds, fuchsia, nudes, balms etc. xoxo

😂😂😂😂 I get it with the perfume. Smells like cookies but you can’t eat it. I got a sample of the Guerlaine eye cream and love it. I never use a dedicated eye or neck cream. What goes on my face goes alll over but I did order the Guerlaine. Hope your year is a great one and that you get to travel a lot ❤❤❤😊

Dior Blush is nice, so delicate for fair skin! Do you have a suggestion for a similar colour in a liquid blush?😊 also love the Chanel Holiday palette, it is so much in „my colours“, as I have pale olive undertoned skin. Also, may I ask what is the top your are wearing from?

Hi Dot, I don't use. I do facial massage by myself. I have a small massage tool for eyes (from the Sisleya eye cream) and I use ice globes often but nothing else. xoxo

If SPF peels it's because products aren't chemical compatible and not because you didn't exfoliate your skin

She explained that. She was talking about foundation, not SPF and she mentioned that exfoliation is important and then the compatibility of the products. I fully agree with the techniques that she recommended. I have been struggling with this for years. Once I started exfoliating regularly, all my skincare and foundations look great and never peel.
