Thanks for sharing your experience. My key takeaway from this video: 1. Pre-sales closely works with the team to identify customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. They are the people who typically require a strong multi-cloud understanding 2. Strong Networking and storage knowledge and the foundational knowledge of the whole eco IT eco System. 3. Presentation skills to demonstrate cloud solutions to customers. 4. Communication to convert Business requirements to technology and vice versa. 5. Cloud Certifications :)

Presales it means in engineering the prior sales activity of the software the required change in the sw according to customization,today its called presales. Challenges faced by presales engineering is the understanding of the change according to the requirement of the consumer as the requirement analysis.The amalysis may be hindered by the variant of communication.

You are on the verge of being an administrator I think its only two steps behind,as for the sales process is concerned the manufacturing is the fundamental strategy to pofition their product or say brand positioning,then the repositioning occurs after the redesigning according to the consumer. The cloud section technically handled by so many respective servers to generate the exact throughput.

Although companies decide if you can be hired to such roles, it doesnt make sense to be in that position as its important to build trust with customers with your past technical implementation experience.

is there any target for pre sales engineer which needs to be achieved on month or quarter basis?

Yes, there will be a quarterly and annual target that needs to be met.

In my experience there was never a target with for presales how ever the performances with client and proposals was measured ..and timely submission..@thecloudpilot Could you confirm on this please?
