how is it this man gets like the most bot people that move in the straighted lines known to man while playing ranger and when i play i get the sweatiest people who kite and crouch dodge every arrow i send their way, definitely havent played long enough to get that skill of players

It feels like this with like 99% of the ranger content I see on yt…these guys like srslysoapy etc get literal grandmas and I get people who bob and weave and are somehow able to catch up to me and slow me down with a single hit enough to completely kill me

i disagree about the hunting traps, if you avoid the traps you wont take damage at all. If you chase a ranger expect traps. Thats just skill issue.

Agreed traps arent some brain dead easy win button they require some skill and setup before hand which you rarely have

I get ranger has ranged damage and it can be hard to deal with in certain scenarios, but this guy hits a barb with 6 arrows (which is impressive) while the barb is jumping around like a crazy person and never pushing in. The barb couldve just ran at him and killed him and taken only 3 arrows in the process. The only time I ever see a video of a ranger winning is either a 360 noscope god is playing the ranger and landing every headshot or the enemy is dancing around in the open just taking free poke for no reason. The only scary ranger is a ranger with an insane bow every other ranger is a free kill by almost any class that just rushes them.

Exactly. From my experience the best way to get kills and survive as Ranger is to land a successful 3 tap before the fight even begins or the enemy gets any closer. All about playing stealthily and taking the right fights.

Hunting traps are kinda cringe but the bigger issue imo is that they can just infinite kite you. They need to be given WAY less agility. And maybe some additional specific bow downsides.

I say lower the slow when hit by ranged dmg.

@ianbakker1421 I agree with this. I think rangers should be able to kite but it should be something that takes skill and is hard to pull of consistently.

I dont play anymore bc of teaming. It was happening in most lobbies. everytime I died with good gear it was from teaming. Its just not fun.

You can't always fight sometimes you need to flee . Of course I like going in trio lobbies solo cause well it's fun more danger no risk cause I ain't bringing no gear .

Literally skill issue if you hit a trap, only way i can see being angry about traps is if you get sniped from across the map like on ruins while in one, no reason any player that knows rangers exist shouldnt look where theyre walking lol

Its not about walking in it, its about using to to isolate a passage its pretty op in that case, in a 3 v 3 good rangers jsut place trap on a doorway on the middle so u cant jump it and if someone tries to unninstal it he gets shot to death unless a 70% pdr fighter does it with cleric heals, only thing that needs to be done is that they are destroyable with weapons, projectiles spells and rest then its alright.

@@piromanijak4738 i do agree, it would be nice if you could hit a trap with your weapon or spell and disable it that way, but that might be difficult for the devs to implement or maybe outside of their vision for the game
