I went to see Ghost in the Shell yesterday. I used to be a fan of the Anime version. Despite what all the critics said, I liked it and so did my sister. It did have a cringy moment where you realize the main character should have been Japanese especially since they left her real name Japanese, but over all the film was decent scifi. And no she isn't naked. She has a featureless robot body that has a stealth feature. She has to take off her clothes to use it otherwise you'd see this coat running around by itself.

Really interesting topic of human augmentation in this one. I think we are rapidly reaching the point where technology can be handled by us, in a fully natural state. Just basic stuff, like screen resolution is now where people can't tell the difference anymore. The speed of the internet, and how fast we want to interact with all the information available, doesn't match anymore. But, that solution, how easy is now for information to be manipulated. Imagine, false or misleading information, being directly put into your head, via implant of some sort. How would or could that be filtered out? If we all connect like that, would we become a hive mind, of sorts? Are we already there, via social media? Then, there's the A.I. issue? An entity like that, could be the one to alter and control humanity itself through such means, and technology. So many questions, it's fun to ponder, though, Nick's fears, have to be considered. Being a coaster nerd, yes, Tatsu is only at Magic Mountain, which is unusual. Six Flags likes to reuse names and clone rides, like crazy, unlike Cedar Fair, aka, the company that owns Knotts and others. Flying coasters like that, aren't very common, at all. I really thought Jordan had the win in hand, on the last map. It would have been a cool, come from behind victory, presaged with the clutch finish on the first. Ah, well, If history is a guide, the one who gets that close, at the end, very, very, often wins the next round and goes on a strong streak, by will or momentum. I don't know, but, these few days of uploads, have been really, very, good ones, lots of energy and fun. While it was more affecting, than, fun, the song Wildcard, I keep going back to it. Sometimes, that kind of song experience, is just what you needed to hear, even if it takes you to a place you don't really like to think about.
