Bed Leveling Tutorial for KINGROON KP3S 3D Printer

This video will show you how to do the bed leveling for KINGROON KP3S 3D printer. Some steps in it are only suggested for the first time.
And it is unnecessary to clean the nozzle for new printers.

Got my printer today, followed instructions and set up. Go to make print as per instructions and printer starts beeping, lays 1-2 lines, returns to the starting position (still beeping) try to resume print, resumes beeping and wont print. Displays no error code, just beeps. Searched google and kingroon support but couldn't find anything. Something is not right. Have done all methods of trouble shooting. Extruder and bed are at correct temp and are both working, fan, etc working. Moves freely on all axis, have powered on and off. Using the print files supplied on sd card that came with it. All appears working fine and functioning as it should until it goes to print. Starts beeping, won't print, try to resume, continus beeping have to just turn it off as its not working. I have a feeling its faulty. Help appreciated. Thanks

I have abl installed and I use cura as a slicer. Every time I start a print i have to run the g29 command. If I don't do this the print will start to high like if the z offset was 0 (but it's not from the display). Any suggestion?

What firmware are you using? Delete G29 and try adding M501 and M420 S1 after G28.

@@birddown7835 thank you for the suggestion but doing as you said had no effect. Basically my nozzle digged inside the build plate during the first line. As for the firmware I'm running the one suggested from this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gqiRa7tnupe9j6s.html

@@Unknown-vb1re i use the g29 to run a mesh bed leveling before every print. This is solving my issue also if it's not the perfect solution

Same issue, sometimes the offset isn't applied and it starts too high. When this happens, you can't adjust baby steps from the print options menu either. This firmware is very buggy

Sir, I do have a question which is a little bit irrelevant to the the video. When we are done using 3D printer, can I turn it off right away or I have to wait for a short time for the machine to cool down. I am using Kingroon KPs by the way

There is no need to wait it to cool down. You can just turn it off directly after the printing is done. Actually you can keep it on, the printer is more durable than you think, I almost never turn them off. It will back to the normal temperature after every printing, so it would be fine and safe.

how do you fix this printer when the axis reverses?? I have 5 Kingroons and all the same problem. Reflashed with 'factory' firmware and same problem. I would appreciate your help

Hello, good video. I would like to ask you something. I bought the Kingroon Kp3s I have a problem with leveling. I level all four points manually, but by the time I get to 5 it's too close to the bed. Maybe you had the same problem. Thanks in advance and greetings

you can try to adjust point 1 and point 3 , and then try to point 5

Start with 5 for most qccurate Z, then move to others as they can be adjusted with the knobs

Cuando nivelo las 4 esquinas de la impresora manualmente el nivel de la posicion 5 (la del centro) siempre toca la cama, tengo que subir de mas el ajuste de las esquinas para que en el centro no toque. Que puedo hacer?

I already searched for a solution and didn't find anything about it. you are my last option. I'm trying to make a print that in total will take 21 hours. The problem is that halfway through printing between 50% and 70% the nozzle stops heating and the filament stops coming out. The printer continues to move. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Hello, the resume function has never worked for me . It is something that you have to fix and several people have the same issue . it starts but doesn't print any material and then the extruder goes up a bit and just does air motions. Everything else work really well.

@@Kingroon3DOfficial the cfg file has the correct data. When I install it on the KP3S it works normally at first, but when I adjust the offset by the printer system it starts to allow movements beyond the printing area as if the limits had been erased

@@thekeydoki Please check the description, we have the stock firmware listed. Just download it and flash it. If already have the 3D Touch installed and don’t want to open the printer, please unplug the 5-pin cable connected to it. Or the manual bed leveling cannot be done.

I don't think they actually remembered to update it on their website because I get the same issue on the f103 board with trying to update.

I'm getting tired of this printer. I installed bltouch, changed the firmware according to my card. The bltouch pin does not go down. I tested bltouch with my E3D and it is working normally. I tried to use bltouch with pins (2, switch) connected on XMIN and XMAX and it doesn't work on either of them. MB ver.1.3
