Each time Robin’s beautiful plaintive voice comes in after Barry’s main melody, my heart just swells up and I literally begin to weep a little. So much sweet emotion. One of the best pop songs ever written.

Robin is singing most of the main parts to this. I feel- from being a fan since I was a kid due to the fact my mother turned me on to them and she was born in 1942. Anyway Sir Barry has always been out front and center probably one reason is his striking good looks but what I’m trying to say is watch Robin and listen to him in this. I cry uncontrollably and have goosebumps all over my body when I hear Robin sing..

If there ever was a family that came in this world to entertain. It was the Bee Gees. They knew from the time they were kids what they wanted to do and that was sing and write songs. They did exactly that. To a job well done. Their music will live on forever.

My thoughts entirely, Phoebe. The brothers were geniuses, truly great songwriters & inspired artists. This song was a hit in their fourth decade of writing hits because genius is consistent!

Besides their amazing talent, they were real people, they were humble and precious and it all comes through their music. I am Barry’s age and only really discovered them during the pandemic and now regret so much I didn’t try to go to one of their concerts in the 70’s or 80’s. I agree, they are magical. It warms my heart to see you younger hearts discover the music of my youth! ❤❤

You dear souls really “get” what and who The Bee Gees are all about. I, myself only truly discovered them during the pandemic at age 76 and I could kick myself for not appreciating them in the 60’s and 70’s and onward. I would have attended every concert possible. But better late than never and now I blast them on my headphones at home and in the car. One is never too old to fall in love!❤❤

The Bee Gees were very special. This song is no exception. And yes, whenever you listen to or see the film clips of the brothers performing, whilst it is always phenomenal, it is also very hard to believe that there is only Barry still with us. It just doesn't seem real and it just breaks your heart. God bless them all!

We have had some great groups and singers from the UK but the Bee Gees are one of the best. Their harmonies are fabulous and they have loads of great songs across different genres and decades.

Robin sings a lot in this song- his voice makes me cry everytime I hear it. Sir Barry Gibb is of course amazing but his twin brother’s are also touched by angles and also Andy Gibb the baby brother . Thank you guys!!

Their songs are very important to them. They defend them at all costs. After the late 70s and disco began to fade their songs were made fun of from that era. But they in every interview staunchly defended their music. Just as you said you definitely feel something when you listen to their songs. That is exactly what they wanted. Also the instrumentation is outstanding. Barry said in an interview once that when they were not singing, they wanted the music to still say something. That is why the music is so beautiful.

I'm excited to see our younger generation listening and enjoying the Bee Gee's music. I listened to them as a teenager and adult and still do daily at least 3 to 5 songs daily. Only brother's can make a melody like theirs. Robin's voice is so mournful and sorrowful it embraces my heart and soul love it. Barry's voice I could listen to all day and have. Watch some of the Bee Gee's documentaries it explains how.and when Barry started singing falsetto. One word MAGIC. Maurice's voice is amazing watch Man in the Middle he was fantastic. I too would have loved to see them in concert. Thank you for sharing and enjoying Alone.

I can tell u! Saw them live in 1991 in Berlin! They were amazing! Every Kind of Generation in the Audience! It Was magical. Nobody knows it was the last big Tour of them at that Moment! I am very lucky that I saw them live and in Person! Best Musicians of All time for me!

My first concert was the Bee Gees in Hong Kong - 1970. They were the most popular band in Asia then. Bigger than the Beatles. Their legacy is an incredible gift to Humanity!

Another great song from the Bee Gees - their singing, the harmony, just so beautiful and I love the video too. Their music spans so many decades, for example, going back to the 1960s, songs such as Massachusetts, I Gotta Get A Message to You, To Love Somebody, New York Mining Disaster 1941 and Words. Man, this song brings tears to my eyes because it's the last hit the Bee Gees ever had. I think they knew it would be because the video has scenes from their past, like a remembrance. They only did one more album after this. I absolutely love this song. They are one of the greatest groups in music history for their singing and songwriting, providing huge hits to many other artists over decades. They wrote and composed the soundtrack for "Saturday Night Fever" in a weekend and it had 5 #1 hits on it! You should watch the documentary w Barry Gibb called "Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart", it's absolutely fantastic!

If you like this, you guys will LOVE their music from the 60's. So many great songs to choose from. And you haven't played their best song from the disco era, "Fanny Be Tender With My Love". The vocals in that song with blow you away. :)

This song is so bittersweet to me because Barry is singing he doesn't want to be alone, while all these memories are being shown of his years with his brothers and he is in fact, alone and the "last one standing " as Barry puts it. 😔 The Bee Gees are magnificent in every way!

These songs are timeless and so beautiful. Barry Gibb is the only brother left and has said he's seen his brothers show up in his home from the afterlife. I believe it because I've seen many things myself. I'm so happy that you both love these bros.! Such a fantastic reaction! I wish Barry Gibb knew about you guys and how much you love their music! It could happen! It happened to another reaction channel and he and his wife were invited to go backstage to the concert. I can't for the life of me remember who it was, but how cool would that be?!

Thisis one of my fav Bee Gee songs and this clip is great. Shows them as boys in Australia. Robin's voice is incredible. I feel like Barry kind of over shadowed the twins a bit with his amazing vocals but in this song Robin gets a good go .

Very nice reaction! I have always loved the Bee Gees (Brothers Gibb) They had tons and tons of amazing songs. They harmonized soooo beautifully!!! An amazing song and video that I would dare anyone to watch without getting tears in their eyes is their tribute to their younger brother Andy who had died. You seemed to like Robin's voice in the chorus. Check out Bee Gees singing "For Whom The Bell Tolls", where Barry wrote the whole chorus for Robin. It's also recorded live by New York Harbor and you can see the twin towers standing in the background. Thanks guys!

These brothers have been in my top 3 bands for 45 years. I was lucky enough to have graduated from high school in 1979, so disco was the theme of my youth. There is none better than the BeeGees. Next reaction you do should be to The Only Love or Wedding Day. You will love both of these.

Great Reaction to a wonderfully talented Group . This was their last hit and a fantastic accompanying video, which the Brother on the Right seemed to miss, as he had the knack of turning away just as old images of them, onstage, at 8 years old were shown.

The irony of it all is that Barry did end up alone....he being the oldest is the only man standing losing his brothers in reverse order Andy in 1988 , Maurice in 2003 , and Robin in 2012......if all of them were still alive they'd still be churning out hits I have no doubt....
