Thank you for sharing your story. It's so important that people who are feeling the same things share those feelings & the coping mechanisms they used to help manage those feelings. I don't have an eating disorder but I'm Bipolar. When I get manic, my ability to stay focused & remain non-confrontational is very difficult. When I get depressed, I obsess over things including suicidal thoughts. My doctor helped me with the latter by suggesting that I 'refocus' on something I really like which in turn would make me break my obsessive thought patterns. I didn't think that it would work, but it did & successfully. Your use of cooking is an example of 'refocusing'. Thank you for all your wonderful recipes. I really appreciate them. Take care & be well.

I agree that it's important to talk about these things, and to share our stories. I also want to remind you that it takes courage. Be gentle with yourself. ❤

I had a eating disorder, but it was because of the fast pace lifestyle of the college and work. Had to learn to make time to eat.
