@@sillynacannada6718 “Neeps” are Turnips, a root vegetable, also known as Swede. They’re usually boiled and mashed with carrots, butter and sometimes herbs. And “Tatties” means potatoes. In this dish they’re usually mashed as well, so you end up with Haggis alongside two different mashed vegetables sides. So it’s quite a filling, warming dish.

@@anyfightinggamezfine69 so im live where this dish created 😅 ill say now usually people cooking. beef (1kg), onion (usually half of meat weight), mushrooms (porcini mushrooms or champignons), sour cream and spices to taste. firstly fry onion w butter and little olive oil, then put mushrooms and seasoning, cook separately beef till its will be brown, then mix onion w mushrooms and beef. mix it, put sour cream and bouillon, simmer over low heat so that there "bubbles" for 2h then put greenery at the end

So did I. You need a shot of cognac and some horse radish and heavy cream with the sauce. Shallots are better than onions and you can lose the mushrooms and put in a bit of truffle. (Mushrooms are great but not in stroganoff) and crispy shoe string potatoes are the bomb.

I remember I used to hate this dish eating it at home as a kid. I had a fancy version, with tenderloin, cremini, and a nice dallop of deli mustard in the sauce, it was incredible! I imagine yours is equally as delicious. Cheers!
