Very thankful for this video. You described the exact feeling I felt when I tried these on in store, with the tightness around the bridge area etc. I wanted to get some all black ones in time for an event but could only get them online. Went true to size instead of the usual size down thanks to you and I know I won't regret it 🙏🏽

I had the exact experience as yours, I bought this loafer a year ago at store. Took me a long time to consider which size are perfect on me, i used to try on the 8 one but ended with size 9, Dr.Martens sizing extremely confusing for real. 😅

I have the beige adrians... And now I see that the dark green are on sale as well... Also have 2 pairs of gh bass (one of them cherry red with tassels 😊).. how many loafers does one need? but I NEED 😂... I dont know maybe in 2 years none of us will want to wear them but somehow it also feels like highly unlikely since loafers have been a thing for 4 years now already...

I wear size 8 in Vans, Converse, and New Balance. People suggest sizing down for Dr. Martens, but when I tried size 7, it didn't fit my feet at all, so I chose my true size, which is size 8. Will they loosen up once the break-in process is finished?

a trick for the vamp on loafers: use a big potato. take a big potato, shove it in your shoe and let it sit there a few days. it will stretch it out some so it wont hurt the top of your foot.

The sizing is different with these two specific shoes because the Adrian's are 'womens' shoes, which are generally numbered a size higher and they are designed narrower. The Adrian Bex are mens, hence the lower size number and beingnwider. Hope that helps, it all on the website

Measure 📏 your feet and use the online dr martens size chart.. you should get close to your size. Also what type of Dr martens are you getting?

Common dress shoe and Loafer mistakes men make when sizing in their shoes. Never size down to break in. Always accommodate the width of your foot by making sure the widest part of your foot is positioned in the widest part of the shoe. While that method is better and less painful, It hurts the foot more and worse when the feet are swollen in a smaller closer fitting shoe to break in, which seems to be the case for you in this video. Always buy and fit your shoes slightly roomier (half size larger) than usual allowing a little slip in the heel with a loafer and toe box room in an oxford, in order for the shoes to mold to your feet better without forcing your feet the grunt work of “breaking them in” hope this helps.

I would say it depends. Broken in like 6 pairs of boots. A little snug on the sides is fine, if it feels tight at rest and pinches when you max bend get a bigger size.

You need some shoe stretchers in your life. They made these feel broken in on my very first wear. Im a wide footer. Turn them side ways to stretch the vamp if you're in a rush, while the stretcher is in, use any hand held hair dryer on low. Your goal is to warm up the leather. It will stretch faster.

Tbh sizing is an issue in every brand because of different lasts for different shapes. Work boots usually have wider toe box and more dressy shoes are always slimmer unless its those chunkys.
