In this video I'm going to be sharing everything you need to know about piping as a beginner! We'll be going through the most important step before you start piping (what consistency your buttercream should be at), the 4 different piping tips I'm going to be using (the 1M, 4B, 1A & 125 petal tip), and some of the different ways these piping tips can be used for cakes, cake borders, cupcakes and more! Some are easier than others, but with practice you'll be a piping pro in no time! :)

Oh wow, this is THE best beginner piping tutorial I've seen. I've looked up a lot trying to master these simple techniques because I've never been able to make them look right but this was so simple and clear, I get what I've been doing wrong! I'm absolutely saving this, and I can't wait for a new project so I can try it out!

Keep practicing and enjoying the process though, don’t forget a lot of bakers have been to pastry school etc and us self taught (or in my case, KZfaq taught) don’t have to be perfect! It’s art and creativity all the same 😊

OMG- Thank you so much for this video! I recently got into cookie and cake decorating. No one else in my family bakes, so I kinda have no idea what I'm doing and rely heavily on the internet/KZfaq. XD This video is much easier to access, and I love that you took the time to show us what the exact consistency of our buttercream should be. You are good at showing *everything*. So many how-tos think everyone knows the right way to set up and fill a bag, for instance, but if an amatuer doesn't know, it's so messy it is discouraging.
