Yes. Very simple, efficient knife. The curves and lines are aesthetically pleasing. Nothing more than it needs to be.

Dope AF results, @Mysticmountainforge! Now it needs an equally dope sheath/scabbard to complete the package!

Ive heard conflicting ideas on the tang holes, whether you should or should not have them and why etc. Personally I think its better to have both a lighter knife and straight through epoxy bonds connecting the scales.
@Mysticmountainforge6 ай бұрын
I agree completely, allowing the epoxy to interconnect is much better than it just bonding to a flat surface with most of it squishing out due to no place to go. I appreciate you watching!

There is nothing wrong with having just flats glued. With scales and tang prepped and degreased, and pins in place, it'll take quite an abuse to, ugh, "disassemble" the knife :) Lightening the tang is great idea anyway.

Great video, did you see the new grizzly knife belt sander? Nice build. Never underestimate the power of new files, I would prefer them over a 1x30. I have a harbor freight 1x30 it is a good tool for small stuff. Thanks Matt

Thanks! Those new grizzly ones look really handy, I am considering getting one for the shop eventually. A good set of files and a filing jig is extremely handy. I appreciate you watching!

You videos are the best! What thickness are handle scales on these? Thanks so much
@Mysticmountainforge4 ай бұрын
Thanks! They come in 3/8 inch thick scales but I usually grind them thinner, closer to 1/2 of an inch. I appreciate you watching.
