My first big project on this channel
I tried to only include the basics and what you need just to get started playing pjsk
Obviously we could go a lot deeper in details and mechanics, systems, etc
but I think that would overload the video, and I'm perfectly fine with making a separate follow up video to deep dive into those subjects !

i use mirror mode whenever i mess up during a specific part of a song. it forces you to think more about patterns and how your fingers are moving since it *feels* like a new map and makes you notice patterns you didn’t before

I just got into pjsk and this helps alot 😭 I've been playing for a week and I can't do hard mode because I suck at it lol

Yes- yes the settings were fun. I've been playing the japanese version for weeks and while my japanese is just passable enough for most stuff I could not for the life of me figure out what any of those settings did. Bless you for explaining

6:01 when you got a mental block over one part it can help a ton and also to see paterns with a new eye (if you struggle to understand where you miss)

Your idea about starting with normal is biased because you are already good at rythym games. I suck at them and don't particularly like them. But PJSK attracted me and I was determined to play it. Normal was a bad bad idea to start. Couldn't even get through one song and made me frustrated. I went to easy and played a bunch of songs on easy. After FCing a bunch I felt confident to go to normal. That's where I am now. It is really fun to me and I can actually complete songs. I even FC'd one already. I tried hard and that was a complete disaster. If the game only had the normal option to start I would have given up immediately.

No, if you want to get better, you must practice with normal and hard. Even kids can play on easy. Normal has just enough notes to help you feel the rhyme. You just need to predict where the notes would fall and tap that part. And in every rhymth games, you don't just look at the tap line, but the whole screen (middle is the best). I recomment 8+ speed, that faster the easier to read the notes. If you really can't play harder mode even if you try so hard, maybe is bc your device is too weak for multiple taps (if you got problem with slide/hold notes, definitely is bc the device)

I think it’s okay to play easy when like your just starting out rhythm games because normal may be hard for absolute beginners to rhythm games but like maybe like a week or two playing the game you maybe should try normal but at the end of the day it’s up to you and if you like playing normal mode then go for it, I won’t restrict your fun!

Hey! I'm somewhat fine at the game, but how do I unlock append charts on JP? I can’t understand anything on that version!

The easiest way I know of, is to go to a song that for sure has an append difficulty (For example tell your world) And next to the master difficulty, there should be an arrow or something, tap that and it’ll take you to append

Turn off multi-finger gestures And if you’re still having issues, turn on guided access
