Knit Biking Shorts Video Series - Part 4 of 4 - Sewing The Patterns - 2 Methods
Hi, My name is Naomi and I am the creator of a company called 2 And Or 4 (www.2andor4.com) who makes handmade products for your 2 legged loved ones and your 4 legged loved ones.
We will be making knit biking shorts that I will use under my summer skirts and dresses to avoid potentially embarrassing situations. This Video series (4 videos) will take you through putting together the PDF pattern pieces, shortening the rise on the pattern (if you need it), cutting out the pattern on fabric, and finally sewing the biking shorts. This is a beginner friendly pattern.
In this video we sew the shorts using a serger and sewing machine. I show you 2 methods for sewing the shorts.
Here are the Previous Videos:

Materials and Tools Needed for this pattern:
1) 1 yard (or less depending on your size) of 4-Way Stretch Knit fabric. I chose a 95% Cotton / 5 % Spandex (60” wide) fabric that I got at Joann’s but there are many more choices out there from other sources.
2) General Purpose Sewing Thread to match
3) 3/4” or 1” non-roll elastic (enough to go around your waist)
4) Scissors for paper cutting (do NOT use your fabric scissors)
5) Tape or glue stick to put pattern together
6) Rotary Cutter and/or scissors for fabric
7) Fabric Weights or Pins to hold pattern down on fabric
8) Pins or Clips to use on fabric
9) Sewing Machine that can do a zig-zag or knit stitch
10) Serger (Optional)
