Thank you for watching and commenting. They are so much more dignified than a bib. Also, you can make them to match outfits or be themed for holidays. I just made myself a 4th of July one.

Can you add color or change it, when the design is totally one color, like all black?
@2andor42 ай бұрын
Hello. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. If I understand your question correctly, if you Are starting with a design that is all one color, even black, you would only be able to change the design to be all one color, any color you choose. In order to add additional colors to parts of the design requires you to add run the stitch simulator and add stops where you want to change colors. I hope this answers the question.

I have thought about making my husband an adult bib but somehow did not feel that it would be something he would feel comfortable wearing. I will make this scarf! My husband is a golfer. I can embroider a golfer on both sides using green on one side and blue on the other side. I think he will be happy to use it anywhere! Also I could embroider a collage logo on each side or simply use collegiate fabrics! Love it.! TY!
@2andor43 ай бұрын
Hi Marcy! Thanks for watching and commenting. I love your idea of embroidering a golfer on both sides of the scarf. This will make it more "masculine". Using darker plaids of brushed cotton is another way. I wish KZfaq allowed posting of photos because I would love to see what you come up with. I do have an email listed on my channel page in the description (About) if you want to email me a photo.

For more years than I can count this has been happening to me. Whenever we travel I have to take extra tops. I’m over being embarrassed about it. My friends even bet on how long it will take!😝
@2andor43 ай бұрын
Hi Kate! Thank you for watching and commenting. I feel your pain about having to take extra tops when you travel. Now I just pack scarves to match my shirts and when I'm not eating I just keep the scarf open. I even have one in my car for the times I have to eat on the go. I am experimenting with different closures including magnetic brooches.

Just wondering if this needs top stitching around outer edges so it doesn't separate when laundering?
@2andor45 ай бұрын
I have not top stitched any of the ones I have made and I have washed them several times. I iron them after washing. It is my personal opinion and preference NOT to top stitch the ones I have make out of cotton type fabrics, including brushed cotton. However, I did top stitch one that I made out of microfiber (video will be coming), to use in my bathroom, because of the nature and thickness of microfiber.

What brand needles do you find do best?
@2andor46 ай бұрын
I use BALL Points 90/14 for Sherpa and Fleece since they are technically knits,. I use Schmetz, Groz or Organ brand needles. Some machines are particular about which brand (thankfully, my machine seems to take them all). Regardless of what brand you use, change your needle often (every 6 to 8 hours of sewing time) since a new needle can make a difference on how your machine sews! P.S. It seems Schmetz came out with a needle for Fleece fabric but I have not tried it yet. I am going to get some and try them. www.amazon.com/Schmetz-Fleece-Needles-Machine-None/dp/B08SCNKGJ8/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3DWESLMDFA66K&keywords=schmetz+fleece+needles&qid=1705071503&sprefix=schmetz+fleece+needles%2Caps%2C70&sr=8-1

I like how you’re using that T-square!
@2andor47 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting! The T-square has a vertical center line. I have found if I put that line down the pressed center line of the shirt it makes it easier for me to line the design up IF the design has a horizontal line that you can detect (for example if all the elements in the design line up at the bottom). Also - if I turn it the other way the width of the T-square is exactly the same as my 3 fingers so I can find how far down from neckline I want to put the design.
