My name is Naomi and I am the creator of a company called 2 And Or 4 (www.2andor4.com) who makes handmade products for your 2 legged loved ones and your 4 legged loved ones.
I have a lot of hair and do not like using a standard bath towel on my hair/head. In today’s video, which is Part 1 of a 2 part video we will make a head towel pattern. Though I used microfiber fabric you can use old towel(s) to make yours.
I made both a double fabric layer towel and a single layer one for when I travel. Part 2 will show you how to sew this hair towel.
If you watch the video you will understand the measurements below. Here are the measurements that you will need to make the pattern:
The towel pattern measures 26” wide.
Point 1 - 11 ¼”
Point 2 - 9 5/8”
Point 3 - 7 7/8”
Point 4 - 6 3/16”
Point 5 - 4 ½”
Materials you will Need to make the pattern:
4 Sheets of 8.5x11” paper
Tape
Pencil
Ruler of at least 12”
2 round objects - one that measures approximately 3 ½” in diameter and the other that measures approximately 4 ½” in diameter.
