YES! The pedals are the same as the RS so aftermarket pedals that we all love should bolt right up to the master. Huge plus for the Master.

They both work great and more testing in different conditions will help determine which set-up is better for a given situation. In general we feel that the KingSong S22 having a physical coil spring will perform better. For example, on the S18 which had an air shock like the Master, most advanced riders switched the air shock out for a coil shock.

Just get both... problem solved.. King song sold me on the Fullerton ride... but that master is calling my name as well.

This was an initial review and it was not as obvious of an adjustment as on the S22.

The S22 shock seems to be a lot better and more robust as to where the master it the same we have seen out of the hero just a different orientation.

Yes, good feedback. We have a few mics but forgot to charge them all so we had to compromise. :-)

That issue was investigated, the root cause found and changes have been made before any of our units shipped for customers. KS did the right thing. The demo wheels were sent out so that they can be rigorously tested and KingSong could make improvements before their final design. This is better than rushing a product to market and shipping production as your first batch.

Not to worry. It's just a software bug. 😁

Master .

Yeah besides the side pads that stick out on the master, the master looks thinner , lots of people said they like the thickness of the Eagle so hey I’m sure they both feel great

The Master felt skinner when I had the chance to try both. Both are wide, but I'm not sure I could get comfortable on the S20/22, while the Master I think I can, especially since the big pedals let me get a wide enough stance over it. But I have really short legs, like 28 inch inseam 😂

@@thefoss721 I think the Begode honeycomb pedals are a tad wider and longer? I felt like the Master's pedals were also a bit wider set, felt more comfortable/easier to stand over the Master than the S20/22, wider stance

King Song has not announced any changes to the battery cell manufacturer. All pre-production models came with LG M50LT high discharge cells

I understand your view on this however a deep analysis was done and the cause was resolved so it makes sense to change the name since the wheel is different. The demo models were sent to intentionally test them hard to get feedback and we feel KS responded very well to all of the feedback. We are very confident in KS and they have done the right things.

@@RevRides360 Yeah but KS wheels are all tiresize numbered, now unless this one is coming with a 22inc tire then explaining these numbers suddenly became unnessasarily complex, if they needed desperately to change something they could have used any number of previously well established name formulas, S20D, S20S, S20X, S20L or S20XL etc So what then is 22 for, the year, or maybe whatever the name of the latest Samsung Galaxy Phone is :D anyway good job sponsoring those riders keeps this stuff interesting.

The firmware has since been updated to fix any safety concerns such as bms failure protection.

The S22 is definitely the safer choice in our opinion but we also love the performance begode has to offer!

Hey! This was an initial out of box review. Unfortunately begode did not advertise the adjustable headlight. Comparing the two side by side, the S22 hands down has better build quality. The master does have higher speed and performance although like most other begode wheels the plastics are cheap and the final design looks rushed. This is great for the fanatic like yourself but not for most riders out there.

@@RevRides360 you should try to take a part s22 ant then talk about quality ofnplastis on s22 😀😀 they both has disadvantages, but s22 is the worst wheel so far in terms of built qualify. Yes, tail light on master is a joke as well, it will last until first fall

​@@MrPoliarinis lol you arent serious are you? The master is a pile of plastic shit that I bought and wish I never did.. I never had so many little thing go wrong ( the read light broke when a lil Branch hit it in the trail) and talk about the POS suspension.. I wish I ordered a s22 like a guy I ride with ... UI jump and trail ride so much more FUN on the s22... I learned never to buy cause of specs and Begode always has the performance BUT the wheel is the cheapest piece of plastic.
