Merger with US Airways with the new merged airlines being called American Airlines?

I hope AAs are great. So far Delta has the best uniforms of any US based airline and represents us the best abroad image wise. Don't US flight attendants see their European and Asian counterparts and realize, they look terrible, or those crocs are ugly??

The VP talks about a sense of pride. She's in charge of their so called people department. Let's talk about giving back what the employees have given up since 2003 not new uniforms!!!!

Not one word about what the new uniforms will look like. I hope to God they don't look like US Airways' uniforms - they are tragic.

Great! Feathers, sequins, fluff fur on F/As! How many drag queen F/As [and others] from the AA "uniformed employees" are helping these designers? It is about time, however! We haven't had a new uniform in over 20 years! And toss those nasty aprons and 1st F/A jackets!

While we're at it, let's buy new everything since we just filed Chapter 11 to avoid paying our creditors what we owe them!

Show us the money and benefits, not the pretty paint jobs and stylish uniforms. Usairways employees have been the lowest paid in the industry for years, and the company doesn't even want to talk about bringing their own employees up to date with their counter parts over at American. As usual, Usairways taking giant steps instead of baby steps, addressing all the wrong issues from the start. They want their employees to be "one big happy family", yet fattening up one sibling and starving the other. Who took over who? These videos make my stomach turn.

Well, they are years old. And next to Asian and European carries, AA, UA, and US look a hot mess.

Change is good WHEN you have the money OR if it's needed (safety etc). E.g buying more fuel efficient aircraft would be ok. But this is nonsense. A PERSON in "chapter 11" buying tons of new clothes would never get away with it (i.e. PAY your bills first) in a bankruptcy court! But welcome to the world of corporations and corporate welfare.

The new livery is hideous! The tale looks like the U.S. post office threw up on it.
