So there’s something in the uk called project drive, they offer a cheaper driving tour alternative (I’ve just found it a few hours ago) Maybe something to have a look into/take inspiration from if you looking to appeal to a cheaper audience

Some of the best fun I’ve had with my Car is on road trips with people I’ve still to make friends with. Bern lucky to have been on some trips with such a mixed bunch of lovely funny people who’d do anything for each other. Have a friend and this was on twine engine go carts they could do silly speeds and I kept beating my friend and his defence was because I’m lighter 😂

I would be worried if I were Sam or Tony were the worst to happen on one of these tours when discussing openly how fast the driving is. As organisers of the tour and receiving payment, they could easily be found liable, especially as they often discuss how fast they drive on the public roads, understeering, cooking the brakes etc. It's a bit different when a group of mates get together and sneak off for an illegally fast drive around the mountain passes than when you are making a business out of it with the general public...

I guess the battery was dying on the main camera so he put his mobile phone on the table to record but didn't check the focus because he was busy doing the podcast. Nothing to be angry about. The focus wasn't on the laptop, it was probably in manual mode.

Sam you can get the Carplay on the Panamera to go full screen with coding. Any VAG coding specialists can do it.

I hope this tour can be opened up to those who have cars sub 50k otherwise if you turned up in a Z4 and everyone else was in a Porsche GT product you would immediately feel excluded which isn’t good despite everyone on this trip saying its all about the people rather than the cars

Unless it’s UK based, I think that’s going to be difficult for them to lower the costs for participants as they both truck their cars all the way to Portugal, plus the cost of their time and accommodation all week built into guests’ ticket price.

Well whatever… I’ve voted with my feet. I’m a massive petrolhead , gay and live in Westmoreland….. which he is the heir apparent to the title of the Dukedom of Westmoreland. So a triple smack in the face for me but hey , if he does inherit I hope he never visits the county that he carry’s in his position. He might find he is very unwelcome.

Just a bit of a laugh they have with the rate my ride section, isn't it? People submit their cars knowing that's going to be the case, it's just a bit of fun I feel. Sam is one of the very few KZfaqrs that I don't get those vibes from at all They've obviously spent a few days with this group and are just having some banter.
