Sam is/was one of my all time favourite Jeopardy champs. I wish he was on longer as I always looked forward to his witt, his smile, his kindness. A real team player. I too thought he looked a lot like Steve Martin which is a compliment as well. I wish Sam all the best life has to offer this amazing man!!

As a fellow statistician and university teacher, I concur that statistics is a career that provides insight into many disciplines ... always learning something new. A great career for someone good at Math. Good luck Sam in the TOC finals.

We’ve been rooting hard for Sam throughout the entire TOC! his charming demeanor along with intelligence and humor have really captured the imaginations of many Jeopardy fans! - As one university statistics professor to another.
