this happened to me too. i was transgender for 15 years. im a biological female so i was also lesbian. this changed all in one day, but over the course of a month i was in denial over everything. i was scared because i tried to tell my friends about this shift in my mindset but they said i got brainwashed by terfs… i had to cut them off because no, i was no longer brainwashed, i was free. i was living as a false self for so long. letting jesus into my heart purified me. i no longer live the lgbt lifestyle and no longer watch explicit content.

I used to just think of Christianity as an opiate for the masses and led a very secular life in the world of entertainment that was definitely not Christian friendly, and female friend of mine who was very much a masculine lesbian left the business and moved to New York only for her to later be on Facebook announcing that she found Jesus and isn’t gay anymore and decided to embrace femininity and I was floored that it was even possible for a gay woman to become a straight woman and not only now be dressing like a woman but dressing “modestly” being a priority for her. She talked about waiting for her boaz. Not having any clue what she was talking about I immediately found a Bible from a great grandmas house and started reading the book of Ruth to see what the heck she was talking about. I can’t say that was the moment I was saved, but that was definitely the moment that made me question if the whole Christian god thing was actually real! Because how else did this lesbian woman become straight and moral and waiting for marriage and all these things I never knew her to be like before! I’m a straight woman and this kind of testimony still helped me because it made me question everything I thought I understood about reality. And possibly was a first stepping stone to me eventually being saved because it opened my mind to the possibility of it being real.

probably cause that's fake/not the whole story and because the Bible is propagated to appeal to people's deepest desires and fears surrounding their purpose and death... and people usually stumble upon it or are forced it when they are in a vulnerable state.... probably because she had years of other people's projected fear and shame and it was eventually too much to bear to even be who she was freely.... or simply she found her femininity and is into guys now... sexuality can be fluid, can change... I don't think Jesus did ...anything... doesn't mean other people aren't still loving people of the same gender .... doesn't really matter though and is none of your business so... live and let live... and keep questioning "reality" my friend

But they ignore that this is equally true for straight hedonistic lifestyles, and throw the baby out with the bathwater, thinking that the error is gay secs, not hedonism. The trouble is that such a position is also destructive. Children have been subjected to anguish and distress, alienated from parents and even died. The better approach is to acknowledge the diversity in God's creation and to encourage loving committed relationships in accordance with their orientation.

I go through what his mother did. My son is gay. I love him anyway, he is my son. I cant change him but God can. My son knows how i feel as a Christian, but he also knows I love him. @@theyliveyousleep8965it isn’t necessarily a contradiction, it has to do with following what the Holy Spirit directs you to do and it isn’t cookie cutter or formulaic although sometimes that can work (Ray Comfort seems to work from somewhat of a script and I believe God uses that as well)…I’ve seen the Holy Spirit move when I pray before speaking to someone and it’s quietly miraculous in ways that I know amazing things happened but in such a quiet and humble way, unlike the world’s way which has glitter and loud noises….it’s difficult to describe. Not every situation has to be dealt with in exactly the same way, but when we are obedient to do what God says to do, He will do what He promised in His time.

I have a niece the same way. She used to hang out at my house with her cousins growing up and after she came out with her announcement years ago, she has been angry with the whole family ever since. I believe it's their own spiritual battle they are fighting with, and taking it out on us. We just keep praying for her.

We need more voices like Beckett so that alphabet group knows that it is more than possible and real. Deliverance from Jesus. People like Benny Hinn, Copeland etc..ruined it for a lot of us but deliverance is absolutely real. After i genuinly repented in my room that same night i had an encounter with Jesus physically which i need a thousand oages to talk about. 15 years of addictions, five years of intent, suicidal depression, all dissolved overnight. The next day everything in my life completely changed. From the music, that I listen to, the videos and movies that I watched even the jokes that I used to laugh at all, became petty and nonsensical out of nowhere. I’ve been grew a hunger to read the Bible, listen to worship music and praise multiple times a day every day. I couldn’t believe it because that was definitely not the lifestyle I lived. You just get this new motivation out of nowhere, the curiosity in the right areas unlock to draw you in to certain topics that you once never had any interest or care for, and positive coincidences dramatically, increased out of nowhere, and I would legit see miracles very often ever since that deliverance day. There really is a God and his name is Jesus.

What struck me was at the end. His mother's prayer!!! It was answered in that coffee shop all those years later! Just look at the end result! He is serving the Lord in such a deep and profound way. I agree with him. I don't think of myself as a Christian recovered drug addict, even though that's part of my testimony and I will probably always have to watch for temptations, that's no longer my identity. I found Beckett a few months ago and have shared his content w people. He is such an inspiration, a true LEADER, so articulate and just a remarkable human being! I have actually said prayers that more people in Hollywood would have revelations and turn to Jesus so they can influence in the right way… and lately I have come across several influencers who have done exactly that. Like Big Nik and several others. What a blessing! Once they feel that conviction and the power of Jesus Christ’s love, they are divinely compelled to share this fervently! I love it and I’m eating it all up. God is amazing!!!!

God is amazing... He created souls capable of loving one another regardless of gender, he created beautiful people who can connect with each other and share empathy, understanding and a space..... except we can't, can we? We judge and shame people for just how God made them, don't we? We hold onto our fear and ignorance instead of finding love and what truly matters.... I hope you all come to realize the world is a beautiful place with many colors and to live and let be... you're all brainwashed by shame and it lives in you.... I hope you come to the realization you're the sinner hating what you don't understand, being greedy, before someone you love who is gay or something takes their life because of your homophobia and because they had no one... lost everything... even themselves.... People really underestimate the power of a prayer! God listens to our prayers very carefully. I believe I was brought to Jesus by my grandma’s prayers. She never stopped praying for me. Thank Lord for all the prayers!

The fatal flaw is thinking I am what I feel. Am I a glutton because I am attracted sometimes to cake? No. When it concerns erotic attractions or inclinations these are just fleeting feelings. Feelings are passing and they come and go. Using labels to put people in boxes that mandate identity is a prison. No one is what they feel and feelings are not identity. Feelings do not require acting out.

Being gay myself this is not quite true. Sexuality is more than a whimsical, passing feeling like a desire for cake. It is more akin to being left-handed or right-handed, it is a feeling, but more than that, since one has no choice in the matter. As for labels and putting people in boxes, Christians do that all the time. Christian and non Christian are labels. Saved and unsaved are labels. Isn't that a prison too?

@@lufhopespeacefully2037 Yes, there are trinities of gods in other religious traditions. When sharing to Truth of Jesus, it is helpful to acknowledge any goodness found in non-Christian beliefs. However, the Apostle Paul tells us that the gods worshipped by the gentiles are demons (1st Cor. 10). I have studied Vedic scriptures such as the Srimad Bhagavatam, which describes the Hindu Trinity you speak of. In one account, Shiva (the Destroyer) chases Brahma (the Creator), across the universe, seeking homosexual union with him. I am not trying to be unkind, but the nature of these deities are not holy.
