Thanks so much for this. Helped to solve my problem. My ice tray was broken at the sensor connector. Couldn't find the ice tray alone for my model (ASP341B), so, had to improvise.

Thank you so much! This saved me from buying a new fridge and not even the authorized servicer new how to fix ice maker over flowing. For anyone else wondering, these instructions also apply to Summit refrigerators (I used on K70520NLU, and it appears to be the exact same).

Where did you get the new ice tray? I can't find one for my Blomberg and it is cracked and therefore not turning over and emptying.

I have a G91629NWU model Beko fridge, and the controls are different than the one show in this video; Do you know how I would go about changing the fill time down to 2.2 on it?

How do you take the ice maker out of the freezer? My Beko fridge has got a solid block of ice across the tray that I need to take out

@@mikehuafung I have melted the ice in the tray but how do you get the ice maker unit out of the freezer? Looks like there are plastic lugs and you just pull forward but I don't want to break anything. Also the electrical connections

The motor turns too far causing the ice tray to shear free of the ice maker. I first tried a new tray. Then I tried a whole new ice maker. Same result. Any thoughts on how to reset this or otherwise fix it, please?

Me too! Were you ever able to resolve this? My motor also turns too far, ever since a power outage. I heard loud clicking sounds coming from the freezer, and it was because the motor was turning too far and its casing eventually cracked after my attempts to unplug the ice maker, reposition the ice tray, and plug back in. No matter what, I wasn't able to figure out how to position the ice tray so that it would turn itself correctly and match up properly.
