What I really love about these waffles is that they are super easy to make. The outsides of the waffles are crisp, while the insides stay nice and fluffy, and they also freeze really well! You can freeze them for up to three months! These waffles are to die for!
If you’re not going to enjoy your waffles straight out of the waffle maker the best way to keep them warm, fluffy on the inside, and crispy on the outside is to place them on a cooling rack one slightly overlapping the other. Turn your oven on 180 degrees F. and place the fresh waffles in the oven until ready to enjoy. Belgian waffles have a crispy outer coating that is highly desirable. If you stack them while they’re hot or place them on a plate, they are going to create steam and quickly loose that crispiness.
