If you're thinking of visiting the Cotswolds, make sure you watch my Cotswolds vlog series first! This was our staycation, just before lockdown and it was absolutely gorgeous. I really think Autumn adds to any UK road trip!
We explored a place called Tetbury, and then Castle Combe and Lacock which are each beautiful in their own unique ways. I would definitely recommend Lacock for the adorable bakery and I really loved just wandering around this quaint place, especially in Autumn.

@@BellaDiary Yes ,it is !!! I've regained my blocked memories now ,I do remember everything !! And I remember myself went " WOW " as soon as I got off the tour bus & put my feet on the ground ,there was a stream in the middle of the ground ...that part stuck in my head ,then lost ,now has come back !! I told everyone that " This is my favourite place in England !!" Although I hadn't / haven't been everywhere in England ! Lol. But, it was so clear to me that they just stood out & so unique & different ,beautiful ,it felt like some time slips I made ,time traveled back to those eras , like I was in a medieval movie scene ,or something ! It was shocking !! A great discovery moment in my life ! Lol. Back then ,nobody in Japan really knew Cotswold England ,or Positano ,Italy !!! ( not even many Europeans knew Positano ,or Americans at all !! ) Bourton on the water ,Castlcome & Bilbury are my favourites !! ) Thank you so much for your reply ! It really is gorgeous! We always seem to have the worst weather for our road trips! Ahahaha but I’d 100% recommend a trip to the Cotswolds when you get the chance!

I spent 2 months in Castle Combe 2 years ago doing a reroof (repairing a local firm's botched job) and I can confirm that it's unbelievably pretty. It's almost surreal how picturesque it is. I'd recently splashed some serious $$$ on the new Leica M10 and a 50mm 0.95 lens and it didn't matter where I pointed the camera, every picture looked like a painting. If I ever get married I'd like to think it would be in Castle Combe.

Oh wow. You're absolutely right. WHEN I get married (hopefully to future romantic husband) I'd absolutely love to do it somewhere as pretty as Castle Combe. You're right it really is surreal - looks almost like something from a book doesn't it?! It's so untouched as well - didn't you find that it hadn't been ruined by modern rubbish architecture !?? I loved it!! Thank you so much for sharing and watching. I'm not very good at photography but you sound like a pro!

Ahhhh great idea Steve! Yes I absolutely will :) Some of the places I stay aren't that great but some are lovely so it would definitely give you an idea of places to stay if you ever visited these parts of the UK! I'll definitely start sprinkling in accommodation :) Thank you so much for the suggestion!

I really did enjoy your road trip. I'm surprised how old everything is there. So well preserved as well. Is it always that wet and rainy there? I wondered about masks and I saw you wearing one at the end👍🙏Like 45, stay safe---I'd like to see more.
