The main issue is the England camp have weirdly antagonised themselves against the fans and media. They classify the criticism as unfair despite the bad performances, instead of being self-aware and acknowledging it's not been a great campaign. Us fans want England to do well but it seems they're trying to shut us up even though we're on the same side! It's a weird dynamic.

@@Gingathis!! I’ve heard no one speak about how not only has he taken one LB who’s not even fit, that LB is the ONLY left footed defender he’s taken. Genuinely he needs to drop Walker, play Trent RB and Gomez LB. It’s not ideal but it’s the best option with the players he decided to take imo.

@@Ginga yeah exactly, not only that, Gomez at LB with Trent at RB has been done at club level. Obviously Liverpool have VVD so it’s not the same, but it definitely can work, and Walker hasn’t shown anything to mean he shouldn’t be dropped. I then think Jude should play next to Rice with Foden behind Kane with Gordon on the left. Have Rice there to cover Trent, and have Bellingham left of the 2 to have him help the left side in the attack. Kane, Foden and Jude are all playing in the same areas with the current set up, Kane drops into the 10, Bellingham is there anyway, Foden then comes in from the left to the same area. It’s no surprise we struggle to score

I hear what Turkish is saying but England have become a very talented nation for young players. Brazil was the hotspot in 2000’s, Spain in the 2010’s and recently France but England are also coming to the forefront now. We’re becoming faviourites for international tournaments & reaching finals. Look at Barca trying to sign that young English talent & even Jude at Madrid. England are becoming a Top 3 footballing nation for talents all of a sudden

Not really, maybe only if you listen to english media you think England are favourites. The national team was overhyped long before the tournament. The squad is imbalanced and full of overrated system players. All the top teams have a better squad with more naturally talented players. England have never beaten a top team at their best in a tournament for many decades. They are historically a weak team technically/in possession, for this Euros same problem. There is no Rodri, Kroos or Vitinha type player in the team, who is able to dictate a game. Lobotka showed England overhyped midfielders how it should be done.

Around @1:34:00 ish this conversation and topic sums up the England squad.... Everyone wants credit and no one wants the blame. There seems to be division within the club, certain players are selfish and like i said before want the glory but cant handle the heat. Then there are players whom want the light shining on them and are trying too hard, and then you have other players who are trying to shy away and hide. Truth it is disfunctional and starts with the coach. There is a whole lot of stubbornness and finger pointing going around.

Only people with no understanding of the game gonna rate players based on a last min goal rather than 90min performances. And this is what most people did whole season with Bellingham. He did nothing against Slovakia same as the final UCL games against City, Bayern and Dortmund. I‘ve never seen legendary players he‘s being compared to that bad on the ball, spending so much time on the floor because of tripping over his own feet. He did nothing what a No10 supposed to do. No creativity, no link-up play, bad in tight spaces. Just a basic player with no outstanding qualities same as Declan Rice. Lobotka in that game is what you call a perfomance. Tought every England midfielder how to be calm in possession and dictate a game.

Everyone wanna talk shit on the Arsenal boys. Declan Rice has completed the 2nd most forward passes only to TONY KROOS. Saka played 3 positions vs Slovenia and got 4 SUCCESFUL DRIBLES to cole palmer 1. The facts prove these Arsenal players have been Top 4 England's best performers but EVERYONE wants to hate. It's weird why do ppl hate on actually better players than ppl like Foden, Kane, Walker, Trippier, Stones etc makes NO SENSE

Rice is a basic player with no outstanding qualities. A decent No8, but can‘t play lone 6, because not press-resistant enough. You saw Lobotka for Slovakia? He taught Rice how to dictate a game. Levels above every midfielder England have.

You can literally see with your own eyes that when Declan Rice and Saka are not involved in the build up play England all of a sudden become more aggressive in attack . They are Southgate players just safe and boring Foden only plays on the right because he keeps the ball well

Are you going to say Rice dropping next to the center back to pick up the ball and then taking his time on it isn't a problem. These guys are to slow on the ball and Switzerland are a good pressing team and they play aggressively slow build play won't work in this game

@@MenteshMouharrem-pb6tz Harry Kane isn't killing our attacks it's Rice , Saka and Trippier . Rice will play it out to Saka and then Saka will just pass it back to him and then Rice will go to Trippier and the ball comes back to Rice again and then it ends up back with Pickford. What is Harry Kane meant to do with that. Arteta literally moved Rice out of the six position because so arsenal could go back to playing fast and aggressive during the season

@@GuesswhereIsMe Send these notes to Southgate my guy, you clearly know your stuff. Kane dropping deep for the ball is not making space for the others, instead is creating more of a congested middle of the park and also leaving the 2 centre backs of the other team free.
