Yes exactly, the guitar he uses in this video is a Freshman FA300D LH (all solid woods). I guess it was his first Dreadnought and he also used the guitar on the Every Kingdom. He also has a Martin D-28 and a Taylor. I have the Freshman FA300D and it's a freaking nice guitar :)

I think the tuning he uses is CFCGFC (jups, that's 5 actually lower than 4). It's the only way it sounds right when you place your fingers the way he does in this video.

I think the tape was for a microphone inside the guitar for when he did some lap tapping and 'drumming' on the body of the guitar if I remember correctly :)

I'm always curious as to what that tape is for. I can't work out whether it's to mute any resonance or just to hold in place a pickup microphone in the soundhole

@melissaniccolls I'm pretty sure its a Freshman FA1DLH, its part of Freshman Guitars' left handed range of guitars. :)

@tntnijmegen If you were to actually look... his martin doesn't have an inlay on the 3rd fret.. his freshman does.. also if you were to watch.. the majority of his videos he uses his freshman.. im pretty sure its his preferred guitar out of the two.

Its a Freshman. He does play a Martin D-28 but he isn't in this video. I can tell because of the pickguard.

@Insigma83 if your gonna advertise at least do it correctly, 1 you did not write that tab you just copy and pasted it and also it is written for DGDEBD tuning so you are wrong there

I'm quite sure it's for the microphone or the guitar had a crack and he tried (poorly^^) to stabilize it with duct tape :D

it cant be for a microphone because he has a jack being plugged in at the end of the body of the guitar. it's got to be something for the resonance or a crack

you can still blend various mic's inside the guitar and wire them out the end of the body

@rooster369 get a grip!! I made the tab myself, from scratch, because people like you didn't have the ability to do it themselves. I ask you actually use your brain before commenting and slandering someone's good work. Think first, understand me? Read my tab again, I clearly state that I have used a different tuning for this song because I didn't have a capo. Dont make stupid assumptions like I copy and pasted the tab. Have you considered that someone actually copied me? Dont bother replying
