Israel is a secular republic that has no connection with the theology or holy scriptures of Judaism or its rabbinical teachings. Example of this is LGBTQI+ people have rights and allowed to co-exist as equal citizens in Isarel......because gay marriages are accepted as legal in Israel so long as the marriage was performed abroad in a country that accepts it as legal.......this can also be done online since July 2022 meaning gay couples do not need to leave the country to get married abroad. Judaic laws or the laws of Moses are not enforced by the powers and legal sanctions of the State in Israel hence Israel is not a theocratic Judaic state unlike Islamic theocracies such as Iran and Saudi Arabia where the State enforces Islamic religious laws of shariah or minor variations of it. Theocracies do not allow homosexuality let alone accept gay marriage.
