Hearing how sick he was earlier this year, this is a blessing for Howard and his family. Its sad at the end when this happens. Howard is now a different man entirely after losing his father. Ben made a legend.

Awh that's a bummer. At least he got grandchildren, an uber successful son, long marriage and a lot of years. Howard wouldn't be the radio legend without him. RIP

Well, look, Ben did his best, but Howard became WILDLY successful in spite of Ben's berating. Like hundreds of millions of people around the world, I never met or knew Ben, but I felt as though his straightforward logic stayed in my head and made my decision making more measured.

RIP, Ben. You were a good man. We will always have the moments you were recorded. Howard did all he could to make sure Ben had the best care possible. Sadly. I am not worried about Ray. She is not in good shape and Ben's passing may hasten her demise.
