I think it’s part of both what makes Jewish kids grow up determined to be successful but also causes so much nervousness, one of my best friends growing up was Jewish and when his father got home from work oh man it was very reminiscent of this, even down to the point of questioning us all about the current politics, news, school etc.

that is sorta of odd considering your'e hearing it back from the same source here as live audio. Might be the quality that comes from old reel to reel tapes, which is what they always used to record music for albums because the quality is amazing. That and Howard relies on insanely over-compressed multiband compression to make him sound like he has a bassy voice, but it objectively sounds ridiculous... from the 2000s on you can play the show with the audio turned way,WAY down and his voice is still moving the sub woofer like it's an N.W.A song.
