I got an air fryer a few years ago, while I was broke and building my business. No time to cook, and no money for lots of spices and sides. Lots of memories of cheap, BS meals being made better by throwing them in the air fryer while I did invoices, returned calls, and being able to forget about my dinner cooking in the background. My business is going well, and I usually cook good food with good, natural ingredients most nights, but I still have my cheap Walmart air fryer, and I occasionally like to throw some tenders or chicken strips in there. I always make myself a LOADED fish sandwich with it after every Yom Kippur fast. Air fryers are the best.

My wife and I initially used ours the same way, but to this day our preferred method to cook Garlic Parm Brussel Sprouts, and quite a few other sides is the air fryer. I also enjoy more healthy home cooked meals these days, but it is also a GREAT way to reheat your fast food fries and what not! Really are the best!

I was so desperate once that i just used a hot iron and it actually turned out pretty good.

100% I started making rice and beans and pasta in the microwave cause I got tired of ramen. It didn't always come out right but I was just happy to be eating beans and pasta.

because a microwave probably doesnt entirely cook like a grill does, so it probably is slightly more risky than a ususlly rare steak or medium steak. atleast thats what i assume
