Funny story. I kept hearing about Benedict Cumberbatch every where I go from 2011 and on. I live in the middle east. I couldn’t escape his name which made me not want to check out what was all the fuss about. Literally couldn’t escape him every time I open the TV some entertainment show either talks about Sherlock or the Star Treck , Imitation Game and many others till he was cast as Doctor Strange. I was never a Marvel fan. Never watched a single MCU movie so I still didn’t care. Even though I was a Sherlock fan, for some reason I didn’t want to check his show. I used to call him cucumber all the time. Is that the movie with Cucumber? 😂 Years later, I went to watch Spider-Man NWH because I wanted to see if Tobi or Andrew will show up and Benedict was there as Doctor Strange. For some unexplainable reason I got out of that movie having an unbelievable urge to get more Doctor Strange. I have no idea why I liked him so much in that movie. Weather it was his “for fox sake” mug or his brilliant powers or his delivery, I don’t know. All I know is that I wanted more and so did my two sisters who watched that movie with me. Needless to say we decided to watch his solo movie and bam he became out favorite Marvel hero. Then since I am a Sherlock Holmes fan I decided to risk it and go watch BBC Sherlock and that definitely got me completely Sherlocked and Benedictlocked all at once. I’ve watched almost everything he acted in and watched almost every KZfaq video or article he was mentioned in. I still can’t believe it because I was never the type to follow everything an actor does. Never.
