I water jog 45 minutes everyday. It was the best thing that ever happened to me!

@@sezh9487 I have went down 4 dress sizes. I have so much energy now! I currently do 8 miles a day by water jogging for 1 hour and half. I just love it!

I simply love you energy and the way you explained this... Several of my friends are that water workouts are recovery workouts not to be substituted with out of water weight training. Thanks for creating something I can show them

Hey You are so correct regarding your options in the water 💧 Please keep this updated as this area seems to be neglected by most coaches due to lack of knowledge. I used water to train for 3 days and ran 14.23 for the 3mile

I just started doing this recently and was very surprised that it felt like a good cardio workout and raised my heartrate! I have had multiple hip surgeries and have tendinitis and arthritis in my ankles, so this is a great option for me! Thanks for the video!

Is water jogging good for people who plays football and that also has football injuries like a meniscus and ligament injury. Is it also good for the knees?

It very much is...as long as you do it in deep water with a flotation belt. Deep water is zero gravity and thus zero impact. However, you still need the range of motion in your knees to perform the movement without discomfort or causing further issues with existing injuries. You may want to talk with your Dr./physical therapist first to make sure you aren't doing more harm by exercising...even though it is with zero impact.

3 bulging discs l3 l4 l5 s1 A hip injury from football Was ruined for a year could not run or stand for more than 5 minutes without being in paralysing pain. After doing water running jogging in deep water for 2 months I feel absolutely brand new walking isnt paintful i can jog for 8 minutes and work again at my job that requires me to stand for 4-6 hours.

I started aqua jogging again, this time to recover from herniated disc. I can't walk for an hour on ground, but can aqua jogging for an hour

Thanks for your nice comment. My favorite belt is the one used in the video - by Water Gym Fitness. Unfortunately, they are no longer producing the belts. I would look for a thinner "ski-belt" style like the one in the video . The wider ones are awkward. Check SwimOutlet.com and Amazon. Hydrofit has a good belt.

I have life long joint hypermobility pain as well as problems with tight muscles, which I believe might be neurology or cortisol related as it happened after I developed PTSD. I gained a lot of weight with the PTSD too. In an ideal world I would buy a heated hydrotherapy treadmill, but I can't anywhere near afford it, & theres none I can hire locally. I know the heat plays a big part. If I was to buy a simple outdoor pool, deep but not particularly big, & it was unheated, would this help? I am worried the heat is needed to relax the muscles? I live in a pretty cold climate too so in winter it would be much more like a ice bath. I know theres health benefits to that, but would there be in my medical situation? My muscles really need to relax, & get stronger. I used to hike, currently I can't even walk far. My PTSD along with lockdown ment I barely left the house for years, I got PTSD in 2018. I don't have any money for private treatment, a pool is possibly my only option. Thoughts?

I think an outdoor pool would be rather limiting for you because it is really not comfortable or advisable to exercise in water that is below 80 degrees F. Can you exercise in a community pool or gym facility pool near you? With the Poolfit app and an inexpensive pair waterproof bluetooth earbuds, you could exercise in an area of the pool when they have open swim times.

Deep water exercise of any kind is ideal for back pain because in deep water your spine is unloaded and decompressed because there is no gravity in deep water. Before committing to exercise, you can even just try getting into the deep end of the pool with a pool noodle and just rest your arms on the noodle and let your body hang vertically. This may alleviate your back pain.
