@@cuzz2895I'm not talking about your old one, I'm talking about the new ones. There's no cruise control. I don't care how great a truck is off road if it's not comfortable on-road, where most people spend the majority of their time driving.

It's 2024 and CHEVY still rocking leaf springs is wild.

Leaf springs are a proven suspension design that Toyota used right up until 2024. Nothing wild about leaf springs. What is wild is that the Tacoma used drum brakes up until now. 19th century brake tech. That multi-link is cool until the bushings start squeaking and wear out, and links corrode and break, and then handling gets sloppy.

Market forces will and are bringing Toyota back down to earth (Tundra, and Lexus issues are huge embarrassment for them right now - flames fanned by the internet ). Other channel pointed out - Toyota offering 0% interest on Tundras "which they hardly ever do". And it's all just started. Folks like you pointing out their pricing scheme, and they use allocation unlike "normal" - gonna all add up...

Neither. Thar turbocharger is an extra part that will need replaced and it blows extra air through the engine, which will cause that to need replaced far sooner. Nissan Frontier all the way baby!

I’ll never buy that Colorado for the look. It’s reliability sucks in the long run. However, I won’t buy the Tacoma either due to crazy price.

I'm a huge toyota guy but i find myself falling out of love with their new vehicles. Ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Reliability isn't what it used to be with all the new motors and tech they're using. Toyota fan boys will argue that till they're blue in the face but the reality is no one keeps their cars that long anymore. Other options have become the best bang for your buck now.

Did Toyota Velcro on that laptop screen to the dashboard? Looks like Chevy “integrated “ the screen better, but all manufacturers went crazy with that tech crap. Don’t want it. Won’t buy it.
