I'm from Arvin, CA and have worked in the fields since I was 15 I have a AA in AG Business because I love and grew up in agriculture working towards my MA in plant science and agriculture. He is so real when he says people have died in heat due to lack of breaks and water. I've spoke up many times to many mayordomos on behalf on our breaks because they will take advantage of you if you don't say anything. I've gotten fired many times for doing so.

Being hispanic, low income and with not much resources having a parent that is sick is so destructive. When my mother got sick it was the worst thing we had to go through both emotionally and financially. I hope these beautiful souls and everyone who had to go through this experience heal and receive so many blessings!

I’m so happy Benjy’s dad survived his cancer!!! My dad’s cancer unfortunately wasn’t detected early enough and he passed away. I always wonder how different I would be or how different life would be if he were still around. Dads are truly strong people because my dad never complained even when we could tell he was in immense pain 😢
