In the latest clip, Benzino talked about Alpo Martinez getting killed in Harlem. When addressing Alpo's decision to leave protective custody and return to Harlem, Benzino explained that Alpo's conscience and renewed celebrity status from Cam'ron's portrayal of him in "Paid In Full" influenced him to return. While labeling Alpo as a snitch, Benzino also pointed out that there were many who still viewed him as a street legend. He continued by highlighting the way snitches have become accepted and allowed to carry on with life in peace, such as Tekashi 6ix9ine and Sammy The Bull. The streets don't love anyone so stay away from drugs and gangs. Focus on yourself and love yourself. Get your education, get that job, save money, meet new people and travel. Most importantly, mind your business, drink lots of water, eat clean, take vitamins and exercise.

They should have done a movie on Alpo's life in DC..listening to the stories and interviews make it seem like his time down in DC was a lot crazier there. From him killing Big head Gary(the guy who assisted him in killing Rich Porter) to snitching on Wayne Perry(his hit man and the guy who got in Alpo's ear to kill big head Gary) etc. In that lifestyle Alpo was the worst type of guy to encounter..a guy who would befriend u, do dirt with you, but wouldn't hesitant to kill u or snitch on u. That's cold blooded but that's also more reason to stay away from that "street" life..there are NO rules and the streets loves NOBODY!!

@@jamalvines2133 Facts.. cuz listening to ppl like Ears Da Christ and Sean Branch in their interviews let's me know that there was a whole lot going on back then...especially between the DC and NY guys who came down there thinking it was sweet. Not to mention the beefs between all the guys from DC themselves. Seems like it was like the wild wild west. I remember hearing soo many stories about guys like Rayful Edmond etc.. they could possibly do a whole mini series about DC like they for part of my city Baltimore. That would interesting to watch or an actual documentary too.

He believed no one would step to him because of his old rep and let’s face it the guy was a killer but he believed he wouldn’t get touched thinking those days were over and he’d outgrown his history cos the guys from back in the day are all either dead or in jail. Tried to become famous and it blew up in his face he should of laid low and lived his life but in his heyday he had to be the centre of attention and it was the same thing when he was older. 📌 I hope we truly reevaluate and acknowledge the misuse or misapplication of the word Celebrity! Let’s draw a clear distinction between celebrity and famous. The root word of celebrity is CELEBRATE. So then the key question is what are you celebrating these people for? A movie, how many verses they have, etc. My grandfathers are my celebrities, a couple of my college professors, and civil rights leaders!

If we're okay with senseless crimes going unsolved in our communities, our babies dying young over dumb shit, then keep w/ the no-snitching non-senses. I think I’m the only one who thinks he was killed over something new not something he did back in the day.
