NOTES FROM SERMON: React by retreating. After what you do is done, you don't like who you are. Trying to keep up with the perception of who you pretend to be is exhausting. A trigger is an unhealed wound. From again. I do not want to feel weak again, or rejected again. God called men to be naked in vulnerability. Cultivate nakedness. The same way men like to be naked is the same place that they perform. Sick but don't wanna go to the hospital. Men don't want to go where they need help. Jesus died naked. My inability isn't aligned because I refuse to hold onto the initial instruction. Anything you build without direction is dysfunction. When you don't see God in men where you are supposed to, now your view of it is now flawed. You can't reproduce what you want, you reproduce who you are. God is saying I need you to work on your reflection because I want to see me in a pure standpoint. Pray for those who are broken. Stop being reactive to reactive people and start running to the feet of God. Men need a place they can come and people identify with the resurrected me, not the one who died. People will always remind you of who you used to be. Kings and clowns bring the same audience. Don't get caught up on status. Kings still exist, they're just dressed. Some don't know how to protect men with the Pharaoh mindset. We are shaming her, but dismissing him. A Queen has to know how to nurture without being a nurse, know how to speak to him without becoming a therapist, build him without making him a home project. Kings do not come pre packaged. Being able to see past the moment is crucial. Show me your friends, I'll show you your future. Please don't let your current loneliness try to make you nurture a fool. Can we dive a little deeper between women coming alongside a man who is “developing” and having vision versus sight and not falling for potential and being nurturers verses nurses..??? I tend to struggle in this area of being a fixer & seeing a guy for what God could do for him in his life, but then I sacrifice my own kingdom walk to nurse him through his. 😬😬 This was 🔥🔥 btw.. thank you for giving me more insight into the male psyche and struggle. Beautiful to see open and honest black men. I could not agree more. However, us ladies need to pray first to ensure we don’t waste our nurturing and building in the clowns and not the kings. Even clowns can become kings but ONLY IF they submit to God. Until they do that, there is no amount of nurturing we can give because we tend to pour into men that are not ready nor want to grow and come out of the cage. And that ends up damaging us women so we can’t be what is needed for the man God has for us. Blessings!
