Say hello to the Bering 80, our latest release in under-24-meter exploration yachts! Launched with pride at the Antalya shipyard this week.
Measuring 23.85 meters load line length, this exquisite four-deck yacht boasts an 8.10-meter beam, similar to its siblings in the B88 series.

Those are two different boats! The Bering larger models look nice but these B80 and B88 look too much like tugboats to me. Trying to pack in too much.

Beautiful boat, It just looks right. So much prettier than original 80. Wonder if this design language would transfer to the smaller boats? Whilst 77 is a beauty, I’ve always felt 65 and 72 just miss the mark slightly. (76 was a design disaster But appreciate that was customer led.) Great work guys. Looking forward to seeing more of these splash and full tour videos. 👏

Losing credibility fast. Nauitguys had a video where they now say their boat has suddenly grown in length but hasn’t really. In name it has apparently because Bering yachts have greater internal space than comparable equally long yachts so they have decided to add 5 feet here, 7 feet there, 8 feet over there maybe next time 15 feet to their official naming . Which of course makes their model numbers which are based on lenght completely meaningless. A very stupid idea. But their choice.

This series of yachts is indeed called B88. But not this boat. We started building her before the modernization of the model range, so officially, she bears the previous name - Bering 80, even though it's a B88 in terms of parameters. We hope it's clearer now!

Alexei / Bering I have an odd question about your builds. You mention you use 5mm steel, however if a client wanted thicker steel for the hull, say 12 or 15mm steel. Do you do that, or do you just work with 5mm? Do you create hulls that are ice rated? I love your product I have always been curious about things… much love.

Hello Robert! We don't thicken to 12 or 15 mm. There is a certain standard of metal thickness, and we try to adhere to it. If we thicken the metal, it adds weight, but in some places on the bottom, we can add extra 10 mm thickness for reinforcement. For the Ice Class, you need additional hull insulation reinforcement and heating. We can do this optionally.

Usually we load two ballasts: one before launching the boat and one after all equipment and furniture have been installed. Ballast is calculated individually depending on the boat modelю

Alexei you and your team are always projecting the great pride you have for your boats. As i have been following your build of Victoria's and Ricco's boat i have made the following observations. Attention to detail and craftmanship are the norm. your concern for safety and longevity is prevalent. During Ricco's and Victoria's build you have allowed the viewing of the whole build without putting up a curtain. My observations come with some experience. As i was a sailor in the engineering department on navy ships for a decade. And i definitely believe Bering yachts and its people are a cut above the rest, 👍
