This Bernette 610 serger came in for service and my customer mentioned it was noisy, even though its near new. Apparently it was an ex-demonstration model but had been serviced prior to being sold to my customer.
I show how to remove the covers to gain access to the interior workings and how to clean and lubricate the machine.
I also show side by side comparisons of the before and after service to compare the general running of the machine.
Cleaning and lubrication is the main focus of this video. I don't cover other subjects such as blades and belt tension or general troubleshooting.
